one thing I probably would have mentioned in her blessed holidays: feast of Sekhmet and bast on October 31st, Sagittarius Festival on December 22nd (she is associated with Artemis and therefore associated with this festival when the Greeks invaded Egypt), and Festival of Bast on February 5th
Back in December my 🐈 passed away unexpectedly leaving us distraught. When he passed I promised myself I would never get another 🐈 again bc the heartbreak of his loss was too much. Fast forward, last week I literally woke up on Saturday and decided that I was ready to get another cat. So I went to the ASPCA to adopt a cat with no luck. I was devastated. I tried in vain to see were else I could get a kitty with no luck. I was heart broken. No lie, when I thought of giving up, I kept having flashes of images of Bastet in my mind, by that same night, I was gifted 2 kittens. I couldn't believe it, and I now know Bastet is real and blessed me with these 2 babies. I give thanks to Bastet for this most beautiful blessing
Bastet is my matron goddess! She is definitely a goddess of protection but working with her and observing others working she also tends to teach about shame a lot. Mostly how to shed it and the full expression of self. She also heavily enjoys her followers (if they can) to dance and exercise. Joining sports, going on hikes, ect. She wants her followers to understand how to be in the body more (probably going along with the fact she helps with illness)
Well for the cat owners be sure to treat your cats royally, you will gain Her favor. If don't have a cat maybe you can leave dry food for your neighborhood strays
Bastet is so sweet and she's a party girl, lol. I'm certain she's been with me since my mom was pregnant with me. Btw, Bastet loves it when you summon her and play music. Dance with her, basically have a little party with her. She absolutely loves it💖
oh yeah, Bast is a total party girl, I enjoy dancing with her as well. I always channel her and take her with me when I go clubbing at night with my friends
I was dancing with my Goddess a few days ago. Turned on some 80's dance music, turned around and spontaneously was dancing hand in hand (spiritually?) for a couple of minutes. It's awesome to find out the Gods love us!
I've started working with Bastet for almost a year now. Whenever I feel sick I realize within one or two days it will be gone. Also whenever I meditate with her she has these amazing gold eyes. One of the cats I take care of has similar eyes but not exact. I'm also surrounded by cats as well. More cats have come towards me, sometimes walking down the street I can see a cat in the corner. Frankincense and myrrh incense are her favorite. I have the black cat statute version of her and sometimes I put frankincense oil on her head like I'm petting her. In the beginning I did use black and gold candles for her and then I noticed she likes the gold candles more so that's what I get for her. I will take your advance and try the red and silver; I do keep a seashell of silver jewelry on her alter that I use as a form of protection with her energy. She is protective but for me I feel it in a motherly way. She's not overbearing but she does make herself known and she does drop hints or tell me when things need to change on her Alter. Currently I have Sekhmet and Bastet on my alter. Bastet actually introduced me to Sekhmet and I enjoy working with both deities.
If giving food or drink offerings, use this for a ritual. When the ritual is done, eat or drink the offering and imagine yourself eating with the god or goddess you are working with. This practice is where the Christians got the idea of the wine and bread for holy communion. You have to actually drink the wine and eat the bread to commun with the god or goddess. We humans being a social species, eat with each other to connect, and doing this with gods is a very ancient practice that the Egyptians, and many others, did. The idea of leaving the offering at the altar is actually from the old practice of sacrifice, not offerings. Offerings were shared with the gods, while sacrifice was given to the gods. As far as bastet goes, i dont see much in the way of sacrifice you would be giving her unless it's a mouse you killed that you want to set on fire in your house, and none of us wants to do that. Ok, i hope none of us wants to do that. You can also give sacrifice to her during sex magic, seeing as she is the goddess of fertility, but an orgasm isn't really something that can be left on an altar. Btw, I've had great success utilizing her in sex magic, especially if my husband and i have a drink with her beforehand. I've actually healed very painful ovarian cysts instantly, and she has helped me get on a 28-day lunar cycle with my pcos. She's great for sexual reproduction issues. She might even be good to work with if you've had sexual trauma in the past that you need to heal from. Although watch out, because the person who abused you will get their come uppins. She doesn't take too kindly to men who abuse women and children. She will go into deranged lion mode real quick.
My first deity since last spring, I love cat mama so much ❤ I have her little altar on top of my guitar speaker cabinet, I'm super beginner but I get the sense that she enjoys just the fact that she's close to the sound of a musical instrument :) That's actually how I found her, or she found me, I sort of put it out there that I want a goddess in my life and few days later I noticed for the first time that the music store near my home has her statue in the shop window :) I also offer her cat whiskers when I find them in the house, and donations to cat shelters are appreciated too. Loved the video! As others have commented, giving offerings to Bastet by letting your cat enjoy them is a great way to honor her. I also place offerings such as paintings I've done on her altar so it was great to hear you mention artistic offerings. I also consider dance and music to be fitting active offerings/prayers. I say active as in these aren't placed on the altar but played and done in her presence with her in mind.
bastet devotee here! for incense offerings, i burn frankensence for her on occasion. she seems to really enjoy it. another great way to give offerings is if you have a cat, have the cats eat treats after you offer them to bastet, or or offer the cats enjoying the treats in honor of her. she really just loves to see you taking care of your cats lol. if you don’t have a cat, that’s totally fine. but i’ve found in my past year of working with her that a lot of the way she communicates with me is through my cats. for crystal, i’ve also seen people leave citrine and carnelian. i personally leave citrine on her altar, and she seems to really enjoy it. i also leave things like cat claws as my cats shed them naturally over time, gold jewelry, and catnip. *** if you have cats, please jar and cork the catnip. they will and i repeat they WILL find a way into your altar to try and eat it if you leave it out. ****
😂 My alter is a shelf pretty far up off the floor. I put catnip out for her and still have NO idea how my littlest cat was able to get up there without knocking everything off😂
I'm very new to any diety work, but my beautiful cat was very sick this year, and i thought it was his time. A good friend suggested praying to Bastet, which i did in desperation to be honest as it was the last thing left to try. The medicine was making him worse. The same day i prayed, the thoughts to stop his meds and put his diet back to normal came to me, and he's been great ever since. I've been giving prayers of gratitude and trying to figure out how to work with the Goddess ever since. Thank you for this amazing video. I like to offer Bastet the whiskers my cat sheds, it may sound weird but I ask for her to protect my cat, so it’s my way of giving her offerings from my cat as a thank you for her protection.
Sister of anubus. Her masculine aspect is frightening.she will warn first and you don't want to be on the receiving end of her wrath. She is very very protective of her priests. People that have tryed to mess with me have never been the same after seeing her. She is also awesome to take into the astral😉 She also loves to be playful especially in the astral. She's great fun.
I love the video. Bastet is my matron goddess. Another herb offering she loves is vervain and cinnamon. She also like Egyptian musk for incense. With meat offerings, if you have a pet cat, give it to your cat. Another fantastic offering which Bastet absolutely loves, is if you have a pet cat. Give her your cat as a living vessel for her. She will possess your cat. But don't worry when she does this. I gave her my cat, and I know when she is using him. Mason my cat, when Bastet is using him, will at times try and escape my flat just to check on the neighbours as she knows that my neighbour is a young single mum with a little 5 year old. Once he or should I say she is happy that they're fine Mason will return home. One time when I was working with Wadjet, Bastet possessed my cat and literally opened my bedroom door. The way my bedroom door is, there's no way he could have opened it. Bastet I suspect actually picked up my cat, I kid you not. Mason wasn't bothered being picked up. He just came back to me like nothing had happened. One thing about Bastet is that she's extremely protective, overly protective. She loves to eavesdrop. Especially, if you're working with other deities. With my experience, the only deity she doesn't do this is with Anubis. If I'm working with Anubis, she is usually not around. I feel that she really trusts him. Yet, she doesn't fully trust Wadjet even though, it was her, Bastet that brought Wadjet to me, plus they're both the eye's of Ra. I did hear in another myth that Anubis and her were lovers. Bastet also loves perfume. If you have a statue of her spray it with perfume, she loves it. I'm glad that you didn't go into the nightmare of who Sekhmet is? Man that gets confusing. But with me I believe that it is her, not Hathor or Wadjet. Because serious, a cat headed goddess is more similar to a lioness headed goddess than a cow headed or a snake headed goddess. But love the video. I look forward to seeing more of your content.

@Nemo-Nihil you can give her your cats as a living offering to her. Don't worry, no harm will occur to your cats. I have a cat, his name is Mason and he's a living offering to her. She will use your pet from time to time. Also, this is great if you have any meat offerings, as you can give it to her through your cats. That's if they like meat. Mine doesn't. If it's not biscuits, he's not interested. She will accept this. As cat's are her servants.
How do you give your cat as an offering? And I had a dream a grey cat but my finger. The next morning I thought I saw my grey cat run down the stairs but when I turned the lights on she wasn't there. So what was that? My spirit animal?
@rachelleelias1754 simply tell Bastet. If you've seen a cat and it mimics yours, it could be a house elf. They imitate cats. That or its Bastet checking on you.

My story is that i was with this girl and i saw a black cat and moments after i smoked weed with her and i felt like i was insane after which was the bad luck and my mind cleared and then i regained my mind and immediately searched up the black cat and it showed me that it indeed has good luck and my understanding was the good luck it brought and know i have a picture of the goddess bastet which my disease was indeed a mental illness and it cleared
I have a mini altar because I live in a very small space and usually I have to set it up/take it down after about an hour so I usually eat/drink my offerings when my prayers are done and I've never felt any dismay or attitude from them. I'm so glad this video came up on my RUclips suggestions! I started down my Kemetic path almost two years ago but, being in a mostly conservative, Florida town, finding resources has been difficult, especially since the eclectic coven I belonged to disbanded after our High Priest passed away. Setting up an altar has been difficult since I live in an efficiency apartment with two cats. One of them knocked my Bastet statue off the one I had set up and a piece of the base broke off. After meditating, I felt it was Bastet's way of letting me know she didn't like the spot she was in. She seems to enjoy being beside the TV.
Very nice! These are the things I've noticed working with Bastet too, though I'm still very new. I also like to place cat treats (kind with catnip) on my alter for her so that after it's used as an offering, my cat can enjoy it too!

I agree all that you said, I am so happy that this is normalized so we can all gather and commune about this, I remember the last sinus infection I had, I called out to her in help, prayed, and I don't know if it was hallucinations from a fever but it felt as though a mother was placing her hand on my forehead to check my temperature and then soon I wasn't coughing up small amounts of mucus, but bigger ones which helped get my mucus situation under control and therefore helped me heal faster. the entire night it felt as though she was holding my hand through it all just like a mother would. I love Bastet so much and I am grateful she had reached out to me when she did (almost a year by now).
I have an alter for her, and most came from my Witches Roots subscription. And I have three black cats. 😁 I have a Willow Tree sculpture of a pregnant woman in it as well.
Oh, you can leave cinnamon and light a cinnamon candle as well. Cinnamon can be used as protection and the candle smells wonderful. Cinnamon candles are usually red as well.
I've worked with her for a month but she has been reaching out for the last 4 months. She helped me to embrace the witchcraft path further in an environment where I am not really supported in it. She is also currently helping me to make a living off occultism (As Lucifer is too. ) and she's been helping me to pick and move to a new place. She also likes shiny things, things that might resemble something that came from the ancient Egypt period and she also loves the color yellow especially yellow or red flowers. And what I like to do as well is bring her wild flowers especially ones my cats were around and I like to wear jewellery and clothes with cat details as a form of offering. That's a really good one if you are a closeted witch and it's one of my first offerings to her. Having images of cats around places important to you or close to an altar is also good.
I leave her a bowl of water charged in the Thursday sun (I have read she is associated with Thursday) I also leave her tigers eye crystals as well as obsidian for protection. She gets candles everyday as well.
i have something to share , so no cats dare to get into our compound bc of our pet dogs but when l was listening to this my granny sitting near me was in a video call with my aunt who owns a cat ndd it started to meow continuously until i noticed it and kept on doing this for some time, i heard this even though l was having my headphones in full vol. l think i should start to work with her. now my granny told me that she (cat) was interfering the call & not letting anyone speak! idk it makes me feel weirdly funny

I was drawn to this channel/video I believe bastet is calling out for my attention. I live with 7 cats whom are basically our children, i have been visited in dreams and meditation. I set up an altar, gifted essential oils, gems, gold and drank/cooked with beer in her honour. For the crystal part: it’s best to shop online from small businesses, especially from Etsy or if a metaphysical shop is advertised on instagram or on TikTok but it is also important to use your discernment when it comes to this

I love my cats and they are considered family. I had a fire the fireman could not get my cat. I went in and got my cat. He was ok and alive and well with me. He us black with gold eyes and sleeps with me. I also adopted a Egyptian mau 18 months. Cats are special and unique.
I heard/ read somewhere that you burn a cat whisker when “making a wish” from her. When my boy, Bagheera 🐈⬛ had to go to the emergency vet recently for a blocked urethra, I burned one of his whiskers and gave a few other offerings. He made it through just fine, though he does have a Brazilian wax now ;) I don’t recall if I’ve had direct communication, such as dream work, but I have had good connections with all my kitties.

I recently broke up w/ my bf of 3 yrs, you stated at 8:17 that we can make meal and share it with the goddess. does that mean instead of making him a plate, I can make her a small serving with select meals? ideally, sharing a meal with the goddess? because that sounds like so much fun!
I know that when i used oat milk as an offering to protect my gf, at the time, of her illness - it took away her pain before she could get an xray of her stomach. I even read during my research that the priests of Bastet would drink and eat the offerings after the ritual as if partaking in the feast with her. Just as long as he offer it to her first.
myrhh and Frankincense are good incenses to use for her. I often find myself singing a song or dancing for her. Treating any and all cats with respect is a BIG one. Also she embraces all sexuality so you can do sexual offerings too.

There a great program on the Disney channel called simply Greek Gods, but it explain it from the first God Gaia then hoe the Greek and Egyptian Gods became intermingle, it’s factual mentions every on but easy watching. Sure it can be found on you tube though if any one is interested like me know and I will find a link to it.
When I started working with Bastet she sent me two little stray black kitties that started hanging out on my porch every night. I feed them her food offering every night (just a can of cat food mixed with dry) she really likes when you do good things for cats in the real world. If you work with her &you don’t have a cat, she might send you one.
I'm so glad that RUclips suggested this video to me! I've never worked with a deity, but over the past months have felt pulled towards Bast. I made her an altar and made her a special candle with her herbs and a little frankincense oil, a few of the crystals associated with her, and 2 garnet colored chalices. 1 for water, 1 for cat treats. I have 4 cats, and I collect any whiskers and nails that they naturally shed. I put them in a pretty glass container and have it on the altar for her. (I also use them in my workings.) I don't do this to ask for her anything. I'd love to work with her, but I wanted to reach out and establish a relationship first. Feel it out, see if she'd maybe want to work with me. It's all new to me! I also spoil my cats rotten in her name! Treats and toys and spending a lot of time playing with them, cuddling with them. Of course I always did this anyway, but now I do it in her honor as well. She's happy if our cats are happy! I love your ideas. I can't do all of them, as anything that I keep out in the open has to be kitty friendly. I have the hardest time with feathers! I can't keep the little monsters off of my altar! 🤣 Especially since I've started honoring Bast. Maybe it's in my head, but all 4 of my cats have been more receptive. Super affectionate, more attentive, even more interactively playful. Another thing is I've been hearing and feeling a cat jump on my bed, even brush against my legs. I reach down to pet whichever of my babies it is, and there is no cat there! Have you heard of anything like that associated with her? Thanks!
I'm sure someone already said this but beer and bread were very important in Egyptian culture so I like those as general Egyptian offerings. Also carnelian and Sunstone for Bastet
I work with her and I would add she likes you to keep things tidy in general as well as cat treats, valerian and silvervine are really good as well. Lapis lazuli is also great. And perfumes, she appreciates if you spray some perfume over the alter, not when candles are going of course, incense, and any nice smelling candle as well.
I could always smell cats 🐈 when I was pregnant. 🥰 Ever since I can immediately smell cats within 10 feet or so. ❤ cats and Bastet were very significant during my childhood.
When it comes to candles 🕯️ I can only use led ones due to space and it being a fire hazard ⚠️ plus the building doesn’t allow candles I know how important fire is but is this even suitable I’ve set mine up with fine purfumes in gold cat nonstarter of Bastet Sekhmet and Anubis I bought her lots of little gifts and crystals like fire 🔥 opal tigers eye an incense burner with a cat and Egyptian carvings I’ve bought her some candle holders on her in human form and anumbis cards offering milk to wine 🍷 gold pyramids etc really went all out on a small budget really short on space to so it’s all led candles now I know this isn’t the best but do you think the deity will understand that ? I’m still offering everything else it’s just the fire that I can’t it’s so annoying great video thanks 🙏🏼
I’m pretty new to this though I feel a pull toward the goddess Bastet. I have been doing my research and made the step of setting up her altar. My biggest worry is that since she is the cat goddess I would want nothing more than to adopt a cat in her honor but I don’t live alone (Hispanic superstitious grandparents). Would it still be okay to work with her? What are ways she can communicate if not via feline?

I think I'm being called by bastet to work with her for years I've been given statues of her as gifts from my parents and I keep seeing her in my mind eye and i keep imagining myself summoning her what should I do?
I would suggest a means of communication. Pendulums are really good at doing so. If you can acquire one or if you already have one you will have to do as so: 1. Create a protection circle with the intent of ONLY Bastet being allowed to enter. 2. In the circle you will want something to offer her for coming and also another possible offering just in case. 3. When you ask your pendulum for Bastet to give answers, when you do receive one, be sure to be aware of energies around you. You should feel protected, not anxious or anything. Any feelings of anxiety hit, close the circle, stop, and recreate the circle and try again. 4. When you do feel that protective energy and you are talking to Bastet, simply ask if she has been calling to you and wait for the response. If its YES, offer that second offering I told you to bring in as a gesture of good will. If its a NO, but you still want to work with her, you can still offer that second offering and ask if shes willing to do so. Same thing, just wait for the response. 5. Close the circle once you are satisfied with your answers!

I know that people usually think of catnip for Ba'ast but I feel like she doesn't necessarily care for it too much. As if she's of those cats who don't get high or ignore catnip when offered to them.
I have found that any food offerings should be cat-friendly. After the offering has been "released" by her, I put them outside for the strays, especially if there's a pregnant or nursing momma cat. I don't put out a lot of sweets because the ants around here are nuts 😂

I started by Being told that RA was offering to work with me and a few months later (I think since my husband works with ISIS ) when he became very sick, I actually sat at his alter and called to Isis she showed me the eye of RA. She wanted me to speak with Ra. But when I spoke to Ra he showed me the eye also, then a vision was revealed in the likeness of a ppreistess. However her face was turned away from me and was concealed by robes of white. I knew then Isis and Ra wanted to show me who this was together with both their energies at once. I decided to grab my wand and my husbands wand and stand between our two alters as I reached out to both their energies. Suddenly Bastet began to manifest in my minds eye. She was revealed by a shimmer of silver sparkles that flowed accoss her revealing her with pearlecent white fur. She offered protection from the force making my husband ill. She said it was a natural illness caused by unnatural forces. I was blown away by how I was blessed by two Goddesses, Ra and john got better the next day. My home has felt COMPLETELY different and lighter since!! I'm thrilled to work with Ra, Isis and Bastet now! I don’t put catnip on Bastet’s altar because I have cats, and they’d probably destroy the thing if I did. So I just give the catnip to my cats and I’m like, “Bastet, bro, this is for you,”

one thing I probably would have mentioned in her blessed holidays: feast of Sekhmet and bast on October 31st, Sagittarius Festival on December 22nd (she is associated with Artemis and therefore associated with this festival when the Greeks invaded Egypt), and Festival of Bast on February 5th
Back in December my 🐈 passed away unexpectedly leaving us distraught. When he passed I promised myself I would never get another 🐈 again bc the heartbreak of his loss was too much. Fast forward, last week I literally woke up on Saturday and decided that I was ready to get another cat. So I went to the ASPCA to adopt a cat with no luck. I was devastated. I tried in vain to see were else I could get a kitty with no luck. I was heart broken. No lie, when I thought of giving up, I kept having flashes of images of Bastet in my mind, by that same night, I was gifted 2 kittens. I couldn't believe it, and I now know Bastet is real and blessed me with these 2 babies. I give thanks to Bastet for this most beautiful blessing
Bastet is my matron goddess! She is definitely a goddess of protection but working with her and observing others working she also tends to teach about shame a lot. Mostly how to shed it and the full expression of self. She also heavily enjoys her followers (if they can) to dance and exercise. Joining sports, going on hikes, ect. She wants her followers to understand how to be in the body more (probably going along with the fact she helps with illness)

I was dancing with my Goddess a few days ago. Turned on some 80's dance music, turned around and spontaneously was dancing hand in hand (spiritually?) for a couple of minutes. It's awesome to find out the Gods love us!
I've started working with Bastet for almost a year now. Whenever I feel sick I realize within one or two days it will be gone. Also whenever I meditate with her she has these amazing gold eyes. One of the cats I take care of has similar eyes but not exact. I'm also surrounded by cats as well. More cats have come towards me, sometimes walking down the street I can see a cat in the corner. Frankincense and myrrh incense are her favorite. I have the black cat statute version of her and sometimes I put frankincense oil on her head like I'm petting her. In the beginning I did use black and gold candles for her and then I noticed she likes the gold candles more so that's what I get for her. I will take your advance and try the red and silver; I do keep a seashell of silver jewelry on her alter that I use as a form of protection with her energy. She is protective but for me I feel it in a motherly way. She's not overbearing but she does make herself known and she does drop hints or tell me when things need to change on her Alter. Currently I have Sekhmet and Bastet on my alter. Bastet actually introduced me to Sekhmet and I enjoy working with both deities.

These are just 3 basic easy ones for people to find! Some people that work with her longer will find other colors that work!
Also in my experience with Bastet she has been very fond of the color purple
If giving food or drink offerings, use this for a ritual. When the ritual is done, eat or drink the offering and imagine yourself eating with the god or goddess you are working with. This practice is where the Christians got the idea of the wine and bread for holy communion. You have to actually drink the wine and eat the bread to commun with the god or goddess. We humans being a social species, eat with each other to connect, and doing this with gods is a very ancient practice that the Egyptians, and many others, did. The idea of leaving the offering at the altar is actually from the old practice of sacrifice, not offerings. Offerings were shared with the gods, while sacrifice was given to the gods. As far as bastet goes, i dont see much in the way of sacrifice you would be giving her unless it's a mouse you killed that you want to set on fire in your house, and none of us wants to do that. Ok, i hope none of us wants to do that. You can also give sacrifice to her during sex magic, seeing as she is the goddess of fertility, but an orgasm isn't really something that can be left on an altar. Btw, I've had great success utilizing her in sex magic, especially if my husband and i have a drink with her beforehand. I've actually healed very painful ovarian cysts instantly, and she has helped me get on a 28-day lunar cycle with my pcos. She's great for sexual reproduction issues. She might even be good to work with if you've had sexual trauma in the past that you need to heal from. Although watch out, because the person who abused you will get their come uppins. She doesn't take too kindly to men who abuse women and children. She will go into deranged lion mode real quick.
My first deity since last spring, I love cat mama so much ❤ I have her little altar on top of my guitar speaker cabinet, I'm super beginner but I get the sense that she enjoys just the fact that she's close to the sound of a musical instrument :) That's actually how I found her, or she found me, I sort of put it out there that I want a goddess in my life and few days later I noticed for the first time that the music store near my home has her statue in the shop window :) I also offer her cat whiskers when I find them in the house, and donations to cat shelters are appreciated too. Loved the video! As others have commented, giving offerings to Bastet by letting your cat enjoy them is a great way to honor her. I also place offerings such as paintings I've done on her altar so it was great to hear you mention artistic offerings. I also consider dance and music to be fitting active offerings/prayers. I say active as in these aren't placed on the altar but played and done in her presence with her in mind.
bastet devotee here! for incense offerings, i burn frankensence for her on occasion. she seems to really enjoy it. another great way to give offerings is if you have a cat, have the cats eat treats after you offer them to bastet, or or offer the cats enjoying the treats in honor of her. she really just loves to see you taking care of your cats lol. if you don’t have a cat, that’s totally fine. but i’ve found in my past year of working with her that a lot of the way she communicates with me is through my cats.
for crystal, i’ve also seen people leave citrine and carnelian. i personally leave citrine on her altar, and she seems to really enjoy it. i also leave things like cat claws as my cats shed them naturally over time, gold jewelry, and catnip.
*** if you have cats, please jar and cork the catnip. they will and i repeat they WILL find a way into your altar to try and eat it if you leave it out. ****
😂 My alter is a shelf pretty far up off the floor. I put catnip out for her and still have NO idea how my littlest cat was able to get up there without knocking everything off😂
I'm very new to any diety work, but my beautiful cat was very sick this year, and i thought it was his time. A good friend suggested praying to Bastet, which i did in desperation to be honest as it was the last thing left to try. The medicine was making him worse.
The same day i prayed, the thoughts to stop his meds and put his diet back to normal came to me, and he's been great ever since. I've been giving prayers of gratitude and trying to figure out how to work with the Goddess ever since.

I like to offer Bastet the whiskers my cat sheds, it may sound weird but I ask for her to protect my cat, so it’s my way of giving her offerings from my cat as a thank you for her protection.

I love the video. Bastet is my matron goddess. Another herb offering she loves is vervain and cinnamon. She also like Egyptian musk for incense. With meat offerings, if you have a pet cat, give it to your cat. Another fantastic offering which Bastet absolutely loves, is if you have a pet cat. Give her your cat as a living vessel for her. She will possess your cat. But don't worry when she does this. I gave her my cat, and I know when she is using him. Mason my cat, when Bastet is using him, will at times try and escape my flat just to check on the neighbours as she knows that my neighbour is a young single mum with a little 5 year old. Once he or should I say she is happy that they're fine Mason will return home. One time when I was working with Wadjet, Bastet possessed my cat and literally opened my bedroom door. The way my bedroom door is, there's no way he could have opened it. Bastet I suspect actually picked up my cat, I kid you not. Mason wasn't bothered being picked up. He just came back to me like nothing had happened. One thing about Bastet is that she's extremely protective, overly protective. She loves to eavesdrop. Especially, if you're working with other deities. With my experience, the only deity she doesn't do this is with Anubis. If I'm working with Anubis, she is usually not around. I feel that she really trusts him. Yet, she doesn't fully trust Wadjet even though, it was her, Bastet that brought Wadjet to me, plus they're both the eye's of Ra. I did hear in another myth that Anubis and her were lovers. Bastet also loves perfume. If you have a statue of her spray it with perfume, she loves it. I'm glad that you didn't go into the nightmare of who Sekhmet is? Man that gets confusing. But with me I believe that it is her, not Hathor or Wadjet. Because serious, a cat headed goddess is more similar to a lioness headed goddess than a cow headed or a snake headed goddess. But love the video. I look forward to seeing more of your content.

@Nemo-Nihil you can give her your cats as a living offering to her. Don't worry, no harm will occur to your cats. I have a cat, his name is Mason and he's a living offering to her. She will use your pet from time to time. Also, this is great if you have any meat offerings, as you can give it to her through your cats. That's if they like meat. Mine doesn't. If it's not biscuits, he's not interested. She will accept this. As cat's are her servants.
How do you give your cat as an offering? And I had a dream a grey cat but my finger. The next morning I thought I saw my grey cat run down the stairs but when I turned the lights on she wasn't there. So what was that? My spirit animal?

My story is that i was with this girl and i saw a black cat and moments after i smoked weed with her and i felt like i was insane after which was the bad luck and my mind cleared and then i regained my mind and immediately searched up the black cat and it showed me that it indeed has good luck and my understanding was the good luck it brought and know i have a picture of the goddess bastet which my disease was indeed a mental illness and it cleared

I'm so glad this video came up on my RUclips suggestions! I started down my Kemetic path almost two years ago but, being in a mostly conservative, Florida town, finding resources has been difficult, especially since the eclectic coven I belonged to disbanded after our High Priest passed away. Setting up an altar has been difficult since I live in an efficiency apartment with two cats. One of them knocked my Bastet statue off the one I had set up and a piece of the base broke off. After meditating, I felt it was Bastet's way of letting me know she didn't like the spot she was in. She seems to enjoy being beside the TV.
Very nice! These are the things I've noticed working with Bastet too, though I'm still very new. I also like to place cat treats (kind with catnip) on my alter for her so that after it's used as an offering, my cat can enjoy it too!

I agree all that you said, I am so happy that this is normalized so we can all gather and commune about this, I remember the last sinus infection I had, I called out to her in help, prayed, and I don't know if it was hallucinations from a fever but it felt as though a mother was placing her hand on my forehead to check my temperature and then soon I wasn't coughing up small amounts of mucus, but bigger ones which helped get my mucus situation under control and therefore helped me heal faster. the entire night it felt as though she was holding my hand through it all just like a mother would. I love Bastet so much and I am grateful she had reached out to me when she did (almost a year by now).

Oh, you can leave cinnamon and light a cinnamon candle as well. Cinnamon can be used as protection and the candle smells wonderful. Cinnamon candles are usually red as well.
I've worked with her for a month but she has been reaching out for the last 4 months. She helped me to embrace the witchcraft path further in an environment where I am not really supported in it. She is also currently helping me to make a living off occultism (As Lucifer is too. ) and she's been helping me to pick and move to a new place. She also likes shiny things, things that might resemble something that came from the ancient Egypt period and she also loves the color yellow especially yellow or red flowers. And what I like to do as well is bring her wild flowers especially ones my cats were around and I like to wear jewellery and clothes with cat details as a form of offering. That's a really good one if you are a closeted witch and it's one of my first offerings to her. Having images of cats around places important to you or close to an altar is also good.
I leave her a bowl of water charged in the Thursday sun (I have read she is associated with Thursday) I also leave her tigers eye crystals as well as obsidian for protection. She gets candles everyday as well.

I set up an altar, gifted essential oils, gems, gold and drank/cooked with beer in her honour. I love my cats and they are considered family. I had a fire the fireman could not get my cat. I went in and got my cat. He was ok and alive and well with me. He us black with gold eyes and sleeps with me. I also adopted a Egyptian mau 18 months. Cats are special and unique.

When my boy, Bagheera 🐈⬛ had to go to the emergency vet recently for a blocked urethra, I burned one of his whiskers and gave a few other offerings. He made it through just fine, though he does have a Brazilian wax now ;)

I know that when i used oat milk as an offering to protect my gf, at the time, of her illness - it took away her pain before she could get an xray of her stomach. I even read during my research that the priests of Bastet would drink and eat the offerings after the ritual as if partaking in the feast with her. Just as long as he offer it to her first.

myrhh and Frankincense are good incenses to use for her. I often find myself singing a song or dancing for her. Treating any and all cats with respect is a BIG one. Also she embraces all sexuality so you can do sexual offerings too.

When I started working with Bastet she sent me two little stray black kitties that started hanging out on my porch every night. I feed them her food offering every night (just a can of cat food mixed with dry) she really likes when you do good things for cats in the real world. If you work with her &you don’t have a cat, she might send you one.
I'm so glad that RUclips suggested this video to me! I've never worked with a deity, but over the past months have felt pulled towards Bast. I made her an altar and made her a special candle with her herbs and a little frankincense oil, a few of the crystals associated with her, and 2 garnet colored chalices. 1 for water, 1 for cat treats. I have 4 cats, and I collect any whiskers and nails that they naturally shed. I put them in a pretty glass container and have it on the altar for her. (I also use them in my workings.) I don't do this to ask for her anything. I'd love to work with her, but I wanted to reach out and establish a relationship first. Feel it out, see if she'd maybe want to work with me. It's all new to me! I also spoil my cats rotten in her name! Treats and toys and spending a lot of time playing with them, cuddling with them. Of course I always did this anyway, but now I do it in her honor as well. She's happy if our cats are happy! I love your ideas. I can't do all of them, as anything that I keep out in the open has to be kitty friendly. I have the hardest time with feathers! I can't keep the little monsters off of my altar! 🤣 Especially since I've started honoring Bast. Maybe it's in my head, but all 4 of my cats have been more receptive. Super affectionate, more attentive, even more interactively playful. Another thing is I've been hearing and feeling a cat jump on my bed, even brush against my legs. I reach down to pet whichever of my babies it is, and there is no cat there! Have you heard of anything like that associated with her? Thanks!

I work with her and I would add she likes you to keep things tidy in general as well as cat treats, valerian and silvervine are really good as well. Lapis lazuli is also great. And perfumes, she appreciates if you spray some perfume over the alter, not when candles are going of course, incense, and any nice smelling candle as well.

I could always smell cats 🐈 when I was pregnant. 🥰 Ever since I can immediately smell cats within 10 feet or so. ❤ cats and Bastet were very significant during my childhood.
When it comes to candles 🕯️ I can only use led ones due to space and it being a fire hazard ⚠️ plus the building doesn’t allow candles I know how important fire is but is this even suitable I’ve set mine up with fine purfumes in gold cat nonstarter of Bastet Sekhmet and Anubis I bought her lots of little gifts and crystals like fire 🔥 opal tigers eye an incense burner with a cat and Egyptian carvings I’ve bought her some candle holders on her in human form and anumbis cards offering milk to wine 🍷 gold pyramids etc really went all out on a small budget really short on space to so it’s all led candles now I know this isn’t the best but do you think the deity will understand that ? I’m still offering everything else it’s just the fire that I can’t it’s so annoying great video thanks 🙏🏼

I’m pretty new to this though I feel a pull toward the goddess Bastet. I have been doing my research and made the step of setting up her altar. My biggest worry is that since she is the cat goddess I would want nothing more than to adopt a cat in her honor but I don’t live alone (Hispanic superstitious grandparents). Would it still be okay to work with her? What are ways she can communicate if not via feline?

1. Create a protection circle with the intent of ONLY Bastet being allowed to enter.
2. In the circle you will want something to offer her for coming and also another possible offering just in case.
3. When you ask your pendulum for Bastet to give answers, when you do receive one, be sure to be aware of energies around you. You should feel protected, not anxious or anything. Any feelings of anxiety hit, close the circle, stop, and recreate the circle and try again.
4. When you do feel that protective energy and you are talking to Bastet, simply ask if she has been calling to you and wait for the response. If its YES, offer that second offering I told you to bring in as a gesture of good will. If its a NO, but you still want to work with her, you can still offer that second offering and ask if shes willing to do so. Same thing, just wait for the response.
5. Close the circle once you are satisfied with your answers!

I know that people usually think of catnip for Ba'ast but I feel like she doesn't necessarily care for it too much. As if she's of those cats who don't get high or ignore catnip when offered to them.
I have found that any food offerings should be cat-friendly. After the offering has been "released" by her, I put them outside for the strays, especially if there's a pregnant or nursing momma cat. I don't put out a lot of sweets because the ants around here are nuts 😂
I also learned that she is associated with lavender and cinnamon in association with mint and catnip
I know lapis lazuli can be used as well as lapis represented royalty and high honor
but that is some of the stuff that I have learned while working with Bastet
she has also been known to enjoy black candles and white candles can work too if you don't have any colored candles.

I started by Being told that RA was offering to work with me and a few months later (I think since my husband works with ISIS ) when he became very sick, I actually sat at his alter and called to Isis she showed me the eye of RA. She wanted me to speak with Ra. But when I spoke to Ra he showed me the eye also, then a vision was revealed in the likeness of a ppreistess. However her face was turned away from me and was concealed by robes of white. I knew then Isis and Ra wanted to show me who this was together with both their energies at once. I decided to grab my wand and my husbands wand and stand between our two alters as I reached out to both their energies. Suddenly Bastet began to manifest in my minds eye. She was revealed by a shimmer of silver sparkles that flowed accoss her revealing her with pearlecent white fur. She offered protection from the force making my husband ill. She said it was a natural illness caused by unnatural forces. I was blown away by how I was blessed by two Goddesses, Ra and john got better the next day. My home has felt COMPLETELY different and lighter since!! I'm thrilled to work with Ra, Isis and Bastet now! I don’t put catnip on Bastet’s altar because I have cats, and they’d probably destroy the thing if I did. So I just give the catnip to my cats and I’m like, “Bastet, bro, this is for you,”
