Hell yeah bro Vxf gang ;) and Taramps gang lol. I'm also running the VXf series. ATM I'm running a single 15" Vxf D2 on a Taramps 3k @1ohm. The subs is getting roughly 3400 watts at peak. It's in my 2010 VW CC turbo sport. The car is white the interior is white and black n silver. So the Sub matches the car and the amp matches the car. I was running the Skar RP1500.1DM which is a amazing amp but that Taramps HD3k I'm using sounds much better. I got a 390amp Alt and two Yellowtop batteries one under the hood and a 2nd in the trunk. Iv basically hidden the 2nd battery. And I'm using White 0g for the power with a reducer block to go into the amp and using a 4g into 8g reducers for the sub. Yup I'm running 4g wire for the sub 😂. Yeah over kill but it looks absolutely amazing I installed sundown audio 4g terminals on my VXf 15" so now it went from the 6g terminals to the 4g.. they say the Vxf uses 8g terminals but you know as a fellow VXF owner that subs terminals are slightly larger than 8g their 6g in size I can run a 8g sky high into it and a 12g sky high into it together so that tells me it's around 6g in diameter. Which is nice. But those 4g terminals are much nicer I recommend em bro. You can get em for like 8bucks a set at sundown unofficial.com their pretty large but fit perfectly on the 15" I also got 4 12" Vxfs in two separate enclosers I bought from GP one is a 32hz the other is 28hz which the 28hz one sounds much better if you like the deep bass which I'm assuming you do considering you bought the Vxf series over the zvx series. But if you drop tuning they can dig deep deep and move a ton of air. I also got 3 more Vxf 15"s sitting in my garage with all my other subs n amps iv gotten in on trades ect. Which I'm planning on turning two of my Vxf 15"s into the Skar DNR series. I done bought two 600oz Lord of Bass motors and had 4 drop in recones for a dnr done by Directronix and I got a few more sets of the 4g terminals for em. I just haven't had the time to do the upgrade. And I'm planning on doing the same to one of my Vxf 12"s or maybe 2 of em to see what it would be like. Which ATM I'm the ONLY person that I know of and directronix know of that has drop in recones for a DNR 12" which the DNR only came in a 15" size.. it's basically a Vxf series Sub with a 4" coil and slightly larger motor n terminals. Other than that they look identical. So basically if you own a Vxf you got a DNR almost. I had the DNR 15" a few months back and it wasn't much different than my Vxfs honestly. But issue though was the Vxf 15"s seem to be able to take more wattage even though it sounds crazy. My DNR 15" didn't last sadly one of my terminals burned in half... And no it wasn't clipping it was getting 5k from my Taramps bass5k which I since taken out the car because I no longer need it. Until I rebuild some woofers. I bought a few Zv5 motors for my VXf 12"s so it's gonna be interesting 😂. And directronix built my drop ins for it which I told em what I was doing and with what sub and I bought the two Zv5 motors and they built me the soft parts to just drop into em. N sent em all out together my two 15"s and my two 12"s so ATM imma be the only person with two DNR 12"s lol. And I'll most likely be putting the custom DNR 12"s on Facebook market around Xmas if your interested. They will be the only two on earth ;)
@Jordxn been holding up good. Push it pretty hard daily in short intervals. I would recommend it. Currently looking to get a custom alternator bracket for a second alt and running two.

You do and electrical upgrades I saw you first video and bought the exact same setup. I also bought an extra battery. But when set the amp to push like 2200 watts it goes into protect. I even turned it down to around 2k. Same thing. Just trying to get some advice. On how to get loud.
it can be a number of things. lack of power supply such as faulty alternator, weak batteries, bad ground connections, wire size may be too small for amp. i say check all wire connections add more grounds up front and in the rear. make sure you do the big 3 up front also
1,500 watt sub is handling 3k watts daily? if so for how long? i have a EVL 12" and I'm thinking of moving up to a VXF or ZVX and upgrading the amp. But I was looking at the rp2000.1d amp for the next sub.. I have my 12" evl on the rp1500.1d and it starts to smell on the my drive to work n back(but that's a 40 minute drive each way) so the evl doesnt like the extra 250 watts that the amp is giving it for that long
yeah i couldnt play them for long on those amps so i ended up selling the subs and going a different route. i’d go with the zvx if you plan on overpowering them

I was thinking smart 5k but with them getting 5k at 1-2 ohms they will always be getting power. Other amp I was looking was either bass 5k or the cab 4500 from audio apex. That way the subs get 5k at 1 ohm and then with box rise 2 ohms around 3000rms. Or right now on Amazon they got smart 3k for $230 shipped I mean fucking a gotta buy that and then I can make a decision down road.
@@colemclane650 i think a smart 3 is enough but the smart 5 is so windy and loud but can only play a song or two on full volume. it loves 3/4 volume which is easy to hit with the little virtual power display on the logo
