Yeah, it's a shame! They have it included in the Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits for the DS along with Track and Field which I think also deserved to be included in this collection.
Bought it from the e-shop about a week ago along with the Contra one. Both were on sale for about $4. Great stuff. I dont see Gradius II much. (TG-16 mini). With the included book on each one and Japanese versions they are both awesome.
It's a crime Gradius V is not on Switch. Same goes for Robo Aleste. A superb shmup that remains exclusive to the Mega CD and Megadrive Mini 2. I had hoped M2 would release a 2nd Aleste Collection. With Robo Aleste and the 3x MSX2 Aleste games. Perhaps they could have finished the cancelled Robo Aleste 2. Like how they created a whole new game for the first collection. Perhaps on Switch 2.

I wish Konami would release the previous PSP collections (Gradius Collection, Parodius Collection, TwinBee Collection) to current gen consoles, in physical form of course.
Just be warned that every single game in this collection is hard as balls. Modern bullet hell Shmups are way easier than these games. So know what you're in for before you buy this collection.
Why doesn't nintendo make a collection of their old school arcade games?? I haven't bothered with Nintendo since the NES but I'm pretty sure they never released one..

Yeah, it's a nice collection! The Castlevania Anniversary collection is really well done also.
I prefer the NES console version of Life Force to the arcade version.

Haunted Castle is far too hard (for me at least). I still need to check out the remade version included with the Castlevania Dominus Collection.

I think the collection needs more classics. it's not worth it without "Gyruss".

Never saw a more dull collection - its like every game is a clone of the others
