I’m not sure which cover you mean but if you are talking about the clips on each end then yes it comes with the cable. Basically have not purchased anything else for it :)
There is no compatibility issue with Asus motherboards. I have a Gigabyte Aero 4090 and an Asus z790 Gaming and no problems with the Gigybyte mount@@itsSAMthing
@@itsSAMthing Yes, it's the gigabyte bracket and yes, the USB cable pinches a little for me, but it still works. Simply plug in the cable first and then screw on the holder.

Still have compatibility issues sadly. I replaced it with the card holder coming from the lian li case instead

@@Tomy3180 have you used the gpu bracket from your aero? The usb 3.0 hits the aero’s mounting bracket on my build

@@Tomy3180 mine have the bracket partially covering the usb 3.0 of gaming-a. Might be a batch issue that needs to be looked into
