I went to a NIGERIAN CHURCH then A CANADIAN CHURCH(This is my UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE!)

My father attened a church in Texas ( mostly Caribbean people) where all the members names where written down on a board for everyone to see. They will collect money every Sunday for three years, then when the time is right, they will buy a house for the person who's name is next on the list. I was so shocked! Of course these were modest homes, but a home non the less.
The main magic or miracle of the church is the community... Most of the times there's no one spiritual magic
WOW
I have been in Canadian church since 2018 and never regret it . Their love was so much for me . We have a storehouse for anything for those who in need like the one you share. They paid my house rent when I don’t have a job here in Canada . Imagine that ..!!!. I am happy when I paid my tithe and offering because I knew they got my back ❤
❤
Wow
What’s this your church and what part of Canada I would like to attend
I attend oyibo church too in the Uk. I don't want drama and unnecessary competition. I just want to worship God and go.
I am a Jamaican living in New York. I cannot attend any other church but Nigerian...well not that I can't but for me it is Nigerian sha. WORSHIP AH! Where else? If you know tell me. Even if you miss the word (not that you should) know that your life is blessed through praise worship and this may sound crazy but it is also the reason why I would live in Nigeria-
Fresh meat from the market and PRAISE WORSHIP.
As we get older our priorities shift 🙏
You are welcome our Jamaican sister. Many Nigerians do not know what they have. Take away the community and all you get is loneliness and depression.which is what many of this Westerner are suffering
The parameters for choosing a church to attend is not just ONLY humanitarian. The focus should be on spiritual growth, the words of God shaping, nurturing and preparing you for eternal life. In California, we do have some African churches that have access to the food bank and provide all sorts for living to their members and nonmembers. I understand that some of our churches are culturalized but we still have good ones. We can’t compare them as the Canadian churches may even have access to government fund which Nigerian churches may not explore. Remember it’s their land. Attending two-year school of ministry in white church opened me up to the truth that God is for all regardless of your color. We are the one carrying our Nigeria mentality to Nigeria churches causing drama. We behave ourselves in white churches and follow their norms. Yes, we are to live in love; absolutely. However, your focus should be: Is the Lord leading my family there? Do they preach undiluted words of God there? What are the area for me to impact the kingdom? May the Lord help us!
Abegiii, what are the Nigerian churches teaching from the bible that oyibo themselves gave to them to read
Thank you for this Word.
My dear food banks are accessible to all be it individuals or organizations
Truth be told our people carry the same collect-from-church mentality over to "the abroad".
You talk of spirituality the oyibo churches have it too.
I live in West Virginia
Very well said! Thank you, God bless you 🙏🏾
Obviously you are eating a strong meat.
I love the concept of giving free food because you never know who's struggling
That is standard abroad in white man church they really help if people are genuinely in need. It’s awesome. Nija church I reserve my comment
Yes o. Most of the churches have food pantry, not just for their members but also for the community. And you're allowed to take any foodstuff you need. And the food pantry is sometimes funded by the government.
@@brandnewtofood2184They will rather take from the poor to buy big cars.
Yes nice comment
I have lived in Canada for 28 years and have attended both Canadian and Nigerian Churches. I ended up settling with the one where the full unadulterated word of God is preached. By the way the Church does not buy all that groceries, they are freely donated by the grocery stores. The stores are mandated to throw away expired and soon to expire foods. But some individuals and charitable organizations can request to be given the soon to expire food items with the promise that it will be consumed in a few days before they expire. This organizations collect these foods at their own risk, and they make every effort to ensure they give them all out before they expire. So if you carry so much and they end up expiring in your house and cause food poisoning to anyone in your family, they will not be held responsible.
Hmmmm...... This church can win millions of souls without even preaching because a hungry man is an angry man
Wow this is love in action. This is faith in practice. Their faith is not dead but very much alive.
I hope our African churches will learn from this and stop demanding. There will be no need for Alter calla. This will do the alter calls and eventually to soul winning.
I will never mind giving my four offerings to this church.❤❤
Not all African churches demand and some African churches also do the giving too. At least my church does. We have a food pantry where the members can take foodstuffs anytime and also we give to the community where the church is also located.
And also leave when the food is not available too. Jesus should be the centre. The sons and daughters of the bond woman don't mind going to give to terrorism toward the Islamization agenda. Christians are to full of self and not about God's agenda
I'm impressed by the way that Church gave back to the Congregation. This is very Biblical. Unfortunately many of our Churches only demand offering from the Congregation but do not mind about the needs of the members.
Sincerely speaking
Just so you all know, the food came from the grocery stores, food they don’t need anymore, it given to the churches or the food pantries, it still good to eat, the church get them free
Tell them sister
@elizabethgilman5575
@@elizabethgilman5575Your info is a bit distorted. The food items come from manufacturing companies that produce them and they are donated to America's food banks as a way of social responsibility, and churches that are fully registered are the best avenue for distributing them to the public. That is why the churches give them out regularly so they do not go bad. They are not necessarily left overs from grocery stores although that cannot be ruled out completely
They are fewer in the church , only a few people need the iteams others can afford . A church in lekki gives food every sunday the crowd became too much .....
This cant work in.🇳🇬
German churches here do the same too, i like oyibo churches so much, they loved my African attire alot
The Canadian church embodies the true meaning of 'bring ye your tithe into my storehouse that there may be food in my house,' utilizing tithes and offerings for their intended purpose as ordained by God.
Honestly of all the relocation series I've seen on this platform, you've done a thorough job of showing families the process of settling down
This is what Christianity is about. Giving back to the members & also to the needy. There are many people this will go a long way for.
Not that pastor who asked his members for their entire salary 😒
The groceries are a blessing but let us remember the churches main responsibility is for spiritual nourishment…don’t use food to enter wetin you no know
PS: I’m not referring specifically to the churches in this video
The food is good because a lot of people are having a tough time but cannot say.
I attend a church owned by a white south african couple . It's a mixture of Caucasians and Africans . No Daddy or Mummy Pastor . No carrying pastors on the head like some Nigerian churches . You are free and comfortable to speak to all the pastors .
We also have food hampers every sunday and also throughout the week for the community For whoever wants to take groceries home .
It's even the gossip on naija churches for me. So disgusting - using ushers to be calling people into church yards by strangers who wants to know about your personal life and they treat it like life or death matter
I attend a Nigerian church in Milwaukee, WI, USA, called City of Praise. We do exactly what the Canadian church does in terms of giving all kinds of foods to the congregation and community. It is a program known as feeding America where the church purchases foods at a subsidized rate for the congregation. My sister was as shocked as you were the first time she saw the kinds of foods we gave away from our church food pantry. Welcome to the developed world 🌎 ✨️
Days star church, Nigeria, also have a pantry they give people food every week.
Just know that the Canadian church will visit when you have any problem. They will be there for you when you need help . Eg if you are sick and unable to care for the kids, they will come to help you in every way
WoW.....unlike Nigerian church where they 1st asked what group does she belongs to in church before coming to her aid.....🙄🙄🙄
Wow, wow, wow 👌 this is awesome!!! This is what Christianity is all about!!!!! Taking care of one another, especially those who don't have much. God bless them more abundantly for being so caring IJMNA. Nice place to be... cheers ❤️
This was "her" experience and analysis so stop attacking her and keep negative vibes to yourselves.
Omo na here the church search end for me o even though na 1hr drive shu!😂 aside from the day it rained or snowed and make them no bother for followup ,I go dey follow them up on my own na😁
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Their spirit of giving in this Canada amazes me. Like wow!
The government found the churches, and some charity organisations also help ,it's called food bank.
Neze, nice to watch you and your happy family again. Since you are familiar with Nigerian churches already back home, my candid advice for you will be to try the Nigerian Canadian church at least for a change. Secondly, the comparisons are there for all to see and for you to make up your mind. Having lived in abroad for over 30 years and witnessed their modus operandi the Nigerian churches operate, please refrain from their churches, I mean this with all due respect. Most Nigerian churches, both at home and abroad are there for their own selfish gains. As far as they are concerned, churches are a business, may I say a "family business." They don't practice love, there is no such thing as love, they do not worship God or Jesus Christ as their saviour, they rather worship their so called pastors, they can only see you for what they can get from you or out of you. Neze, you are a very clever, wise, sensible and INTELLIGENT young lady. Please take your family to a church where you will feel more COMFORTABLE and LESS STRESSFUL, BIKO, NWANNEM.
This is coming from a good space...hope she takes your advice.....
Well said❤
Hope she reads this, and its true its a family business. They just take and take more from followers. Nezze go to oyinbo church please.
Nigerian churches are more scammers than any other. Let us leave sentiments apart. They are merely motivational speakers, pompous and ripp-offs. Avoiding them abroad gives one more exposure and alternatives.
❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊@@flavorfulliving
This is nice
Didn't know Canadian churches give back to people like this.
This Canadian Church is for me😂
Such a generous church. They believe in providing for the congregation. I will choose the oyinbo church because of the generosity and love. Sometimes, taking your details, they may want to be nosey into your family affairs Thats why you need to have a spirit of discernment and let the Holy Spirit guide you. Best of luck in finding the right church.
Or they just want you to come to church
Even if Canadian Church is 2 hours away that’s where I’m definitely going 😂my husband’s job has taken him to the Philippines and we are a tight neat family that likes to be together with the kids no matter where. We were recently looking for schools and churches for the kids. We finally settled for Filipino private/international schools. We also settled for a Filipino Church. After visiting a few African schools and churches, Filipino ones are the best choices for our kids. The difference was just too clear.
That's what I was saying 2 hours away I will go 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 No African churches for me no matter where I am.
Awwwh! What an experience! I prefer the Canadian Church joor. I would be so happy paying my tithe and giving offerings. Besides, my peace of mind is key!
You think it's tithe they used to buy those foodstuffs? Looks like food bank donation
This is what Jesus told churches to do . This is what pastors need to be doing in Nigeria
Welldone Neze, this is awesome. Please be there next sunday.
Wow this is wonderful thank you so much sis for sharing
May the spirit of GOD lead you and your to the right church for good worship service.
From analysis, I can tell the spirit has already led her to the right church 😜
solangembah3597
So going to church is about food she can get there. Lol
@@adeolaa9230 I don't remember saying that she will chose that option because of food. . I said based on her analysis, you could see her driving towards the Canadian one. No mention of food here pls.
Plus, I would rather go to a church where they practice the ways of Jesus by giving, rather than the church which only focuses on making sure their pastors have the latest cars, jets, houses with security guards walking around them, but they preach about God's protection to others.
Chose your battle wise.
@@adeolaa9230if you think it’s all about food then it’s like you didn’t listen to other points she Made
Hi Neze, I am in the USA and I attended a Redeemed church like you did though it was 30mins away from me. I had a similar experience like you did but they were not very warm to us. It was also a full church, very full actually and I sensed a bit of competition amongst the Nigerians (couldn't understand It though). I later found an American church 4 mins away from my house and attended, it was full but not as full as the Nigerian church but the difference for me was the level of warmth and reception we got. There was no sharing of food like yours but there were snacks and drinks for the children and the word was preached with such simplicity and honesty, I felt like I belonged here and so this is me typing one and a half years later and still with the American church😃
Some of the oyibo churches abroad are registered with stores that sell food stuffs and those stores gives out those items instead of throwing them away, to share to their members and some are being donated by people too. That's why its easy for them to share things.
True. Thanks.
I enjoyed watching and learned about the differences too.
Thanks for sharing
So lovely! We need to show love. A kot of people are hungry in Nigeria
u are a superb content creator,i am yet to see a vlog like this where churches and mode of worship was compared .More 💪..May God guide you aright
Na church wey do us well we will go to every sunday oooo.
😂😂😂😂😂
Ogom😅
Waooooo
The church is a blessing
God bless and open our eye in Africa
Nice Vlog, that's alot of groceries you came home with.
As for the big churches in Nigeria, they support their members, too. At least I have seen so many of them doing so. Their members are encouraged to give because it is more beneficial to give than to recieve.
Those things were also contributed by people who know the importance of giving
So many? Interesting, please mention the ones you know
Adventist churches does this a lot. Glad your having great experiences. 😊
I also went to Oyibo church in USA 🇺🇸 to visit and the pastor announced that as the offerings is going on, if you need money you can take from the offering,
wow!! that's amazing...
This one, No,I can't, OFFERING no no!
But for the food stuff yes,I will shop well, well for free😅
Because God dey watch and know who need am so if person na greedy being the Holy Ghost fire go dealts with the person 😂.
There’s a right way to do things. That’s not appropriate
Do you see African mentality how can you go to church and carry all this stuff madam you’re so selfish those stuff made for dose who cannot afford to buy food stuffs that’s why some of African people remain poor…remember is people like you who bought those stuffs and keep in the church for poor people but your own selfishness is too much 👀👀
Hey Neze, the only peperempe worldwide! International peperempe and family. 💞 This was so beautiful, you all are blessed. God bless the church for providing and caring. 🙏🏼
Wow, this is really highly impressive, that is exactly what church should be doing to it's members
Make the Canadian Church your Church but, go to the Nigerian Church when it snows. God is everywhere.
I'm so touched and teary watching This. Thank you Neze. Nigerian churches in Nigeria can do better for members.
What I really appreciate and love is the Oyinbo people's respect for your space, even I will choose that any day any time but truth be told for balance sakes. In life there are always advantages and disadvantages of anything or everything, negative or positive considering the way the two churches run things. Thanks Neze for another beautiful content
Yes this what it meant to bring all the food to my storehouse. See the real storehouse where the hungry are being feed instead of always collecting from the poor
👌💯👍🫶🤜🤛💪❤❤❤
Well said👍👍👍
I presently go to Oyinbo church and they do not do this. I guess because the congregation is really small. I know naija churches that give COBBS and Sobey bread after church. Also, when I was in Winnipeg, the church had a food section where you go take food anytime, I mean raw rice, eggs, raw yam, tatashe etc.
I’m glad you did this video ❤❤❤
This is so nice and encouraging, i love how the oyibo reach out to it's members
Wow!!!!...we move!🏃🏻♀️oyibo church here we come❤❤❤❤😊
This video proves that, Nigeria as a nation worshippes MONEY and not God. Religion is about , living a Godly life every second of your life, the fear of God and .love your neighbour .We do the opposite in Nigeria, very ungodly life and no fear of punishment and God . Thank you MazeP for this informative video snd hope our people are watching 🙏🙏
When I got my first house in UK, I didn’t have money to furnish it, I told my nija church pastor, church I’ve been attending for over 3 years then, he kept saying tell welfare bla bla bla, a friend introduced me to an Anglican church, they referred me to an organisation who came to my house, looked round, we worked through a list of things I need, and within a week this big truck came with, beds, sofas, chairs just name it, mostly were new and good quality house hold items, I even have to give some away, Nigerian churches both home and abroad are after your money they are business centres, I’m talking from experience. Since then I stick with my Catholic.
I will never and ever change my catholic faith and have never gone in any other churches but my problem with catholics is this new issue of the pope trying to impose same sex marriage, that is where I draw the line.
So you want Nigerian church to send money to you in 'abroad'? Dey play😂
What about the Anglican Church that furnished your house😊
@@daxxdaheads3534then you will sure burn in hell for worshipping idols! Go & read Exodus 20 & know God hates idol worshippers and bowing down to a statue is idol worshipping. Read the bible & ask the Lord Jesus for guidance be blessed
@@anointedtongue976😂😂😂😂😂
Wow. I love the generosity you experienced.
wow! wow!! wow!!! This is awesome!
My sister if you don't like gossip, the OYIBO church is preferable. Oyibo church no gossips no one is stocking you every now and then.
SECONDLY, too much competition in African church. The harassment in some African churches is horrible. Is like you owe them something.
Gbam...I support
Me too, don’t get overwhelmed. You’re now in Canada. Oyibo’s, respect people’s privacy and their home and family.
Facts
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂me i just ran back to my oyibo Anglican church back here oooo, because the Africa church i was attending for years now decided to show me pepper 🌶 and i decided to pick race, nne no to much talk just look for oyibo church and worship to avoid stories that touches in the Future 😂😂😂😂
The Canadian church is blessed.
You and your family beko go to this one o.
You're blessed.
Wow... the Canadian Church did so well ❤ Jesus is glorified 🙏
Interesting observations & inferences.
The Canadian Church just showed why Churches are classified as Charity Organizations.
I totally subscribe to the feeding culture of the Oyinbo Church because there should be some psychology in theology afterall even our Lord JESUS Christ fed people with loaves of 🍞 and 🐟.
There is nothing bad in the follow up by the Nigerian Church if it was genuine, man cannot live by bread alone, there could be other areas where you can really feel the impact of our African communal lifestyles which i prefer to the alienating ways of living of the Oyinbos.
If the feeding culture is done by any church here in Nigeria, i can assure you that it will be abused by privileged members & people will desert other churches for the one that offers food, bcos there is pervasive, palpable poverty in Nigeria;, if the Nigerian Churches can't feed people, they should incukcate moral values love in their members.
Above all, i will advise you to chose the church that strikes a spiritual Chord with you, i see Church as a place for spiritual growth
African ways of praising & worshipping GOD is second to none
What are they following up for? You can check on someone who you’ve not seen for weeks or months but following up immediately after service is wrong, they just want to know were they live and size them up, for me pls don’t come to my house to do follow up.
Members will abuse feeding hungry people but using church money to buy private jets and building schools members can’t afford is not abuse, tell me more
@@Kutie500 you missed the issue of members abusing issue of food, my emphasis is on *privileged members" which you referred to as those buying jets in your own opinion
Privileged members in this context are not the targeted congregation but the elite members.
I don't subscribe to your other opinion of following up in order to size them up.
I don't think that primitive culture is prevalent in a developed society like Canada, Most Nigerians in Canada are too busy for such idle gossip and no productive person is a leech .
@@Kutie500 I feel calling is ok but visiting your house is a big no
wow.. this is Awesome... the Canadian Church, God Bless You.
Hello Neze. I go to a Nigerian church in Canada as they are like my family here. I limit my friends and ignore and not get involved in their Shenanigans
Chai seee church ooo😮😮😮
Giving back to the people. God bless them
i must share this video omg this is good. oyibo people are very kind especially if the do the things of God
Lol.
God bless the Canadian church, I'm really impressed
This will make you even want to give more! We find this in so many churches in Canada!
This is just jawdropping!!
It is called food pantry my sister. It is a donation from each church to members and non mmbers.
And where does the church get the money to buy the foodstuffs. Is it from offerings by church members.
Grocery stores give them left over items.
Wow wow wow 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
And wow! Am really speachless❤
This is amazing ❤This melt my heart
Happy New Year to you and your family members 🥳🎊🙏💯👍💪👌💝 as in , it is the Canadian Church I will love to go.
I feel I love the Oyibo church more...they have done all the caring in church, so they don't need to come to your house actually 😊....and I'm sure the kids would also love it there....
Oyibo are quite selfless...I love the Oyibo church💗💗💗🌺
Wow!!!, that was a lot of food. That's how most churches should be doing. It depends on what you really want in a church.
Just tearing up,luvvvv ur videos
I like the oyinbo church, you are right, giving back and taking care of the congregation is very good, this is where I will be going once am in Canada ooopp
The children, love God, love your parents ❤️ listen to what they are teaching the children already. I like that.
Wow wow wow🔥😇This is a true reflection of giving back to the community. Wouldn’t mind driving the extra miles to attend this church😂☺️God bless you Madam Neze for highlighting the different churches in an unbiased way. You have a new subscriber here all the way from Botswana 🇧🇼 😊🤗
The Canadian church experience is one I would love to have. The pressure to give for one thing or the other in our Nigerian churches keeps getting worse.
Sincerely this act of sharing foodstuffs can be done for members who are struggling on a monthly basis, but no, most of our churches back home won’t do it. Sad.
Nezeville I know you are a spiritual person and very intelligent. Please allow your spirit to lead you. You may still get another Church that you may like better. Be patient.
You have preached to me. 🙌🏾
Welcome to Canada, Neze, and your family ❤
I never bothered to try a Nigerian church after arriving the UK because my goal is that I want to experience a new culture and I must say white church is fun, warm and their goal is basically salvation focused while I know they are not so deep in to the gospel like Nigeria pastors I still prefer them because it’s easy to feel the kind of love the disciples demonstrated in the Bible. I am 100% Oyinbo Church fan😅
Yea the lady has falling in love 😂😂😂😂me na Canadian church l will go ooo😅love your outfit
God to where your heart says .don't look at u were given or not
Nawa o, this is splendid enough food. Wow, I thank God they preached God's word added to this neze dear, you waka well😅
Beautiful Vlog ❤
Even God knows I will never ever miss a service in the Canadian 😂😂 church ohhh cause I know I have my weekly food every Sunday my and my house whole must worship God every Sunday if back home members are feed who will miss service🎉🎉❤❤❤
This is just an experience unique to that church, I live in Calgary, there are a lot of non-Nigerian church that don't give all those goodies you mentioned.
I agree but white churches tends to be helpful financially. I’ve been offered money be for in the white church I used to attend but I declined.
As she already mentioned “MY EXPERIENCE “ she didn’t say the norm in canada
This is a eye opener.
From experience, when I came to the US, I started with Nigerian church. Too much drama. I have been attending my oyinbo church and nothing can stop me from attending. Too much love. It's one hour service. I attend The Summit in sparks NV. It's absolutely beautiful there. Very adventurous. We live the adventure in Christ at Summit❤
God bless you for doing this video how will l share this to everyone because our churches here in Nigerian is to fight one another we that are saying the no one listens
This is pure love of God
Wawoo !!! that is so lovely
God bless you for this truth tell man truth no They kill man oooh❤❤❤una well-done

Oyinbo Church thats how it should be. Not to Collect from People but to give to People.. GOD Bless Them..
Neze good you share this. I am in USA... l was attending African church, but lots of gossip.
I am attending Oyibo church now. I prefer it, though no giving of groceries, but l prefer it to our African store
This is the Christianity Christ taught… loving, giving and sharing but Nigeria churches have turned it to something else.
TAKING, TAKING and MORE TAKING!
My family and I attend a Catholic church here in the US. We have every country you can think about in our church; Phillipines, Elsavador. Colobia, Ireland, Indians, Africans, Americans, Eastern Europeans, you name it. Almost every country is represented, and our priest is a humble, kind Indian. Every visiting priest has commended the spirit of family and prayer life that exists at our church. We have a Saint Vincent dePaul ministry that caters to the needs of families. We love our parish and parishioners.
Wonderful experience. I am fully satisfied with the inter denominational Church that we settled for in Canada, They displayed the flags of all nations, the message is down to earth, they call for fresh Believers and they are offered gifts of hand bills and books on how to grow in the Lord in a bag, You pay your one offering either online or physically, and this offering is basically for evangelical purposes, the head pastor ,an elderly man is mostly in the fields in Africa, sharing and spreading the good news, helping the less privilege. After the service you can sit down to have tea, coffee and all types of snacks, They follow you up and there is so much love spread around .Yesterday was healing day, some people received instant healing . Serving the Lord is not all about physical food, but hearing, receiving and sharing the words of God. Jesus is Lord.
