Most people who can fly in Gensokyo are youkai who have supernatural physiology, even the humans who can fly like Reimu have superhuman strength since she casually fights youkai in close combat. The only one I think have below average strength is Patchouli, since she has poor health.
I always imagined that flying in Gensoukyou is like sprinting in our world. Akyuu mentions that everyone can fly but in manga people usually walk, it may be because flying even 2 meters is extremely tiring like sprinting 100 m but main characters can fly all day because they're superhumanly athletic
I can imagine a different scenario with Marisa taking a linux computer home and becoming a hikikomori from searching through the endless expanse of the internet. How she would know how to access WiFi? Some friendly stranger helped her put the password in from some restaurant’s internet service.
I decided to rewatch this and it still amazes me that Reimu in this sounds exactly how she dose in my head. like 1 to 1 with the voice i always imagined she would have.
