    We have stayed at Pop Century for years but now that my son and I are going without family we are giving this place a try. Thank you for the information. We paid for a preferred room so it needs to be Fantasia! 🎉

      We stayed at the Fantasia and it was great. Close to the Food Court which we had no problems any thing we ordered.

    Missed the Livestream, was at work, booooo, enjoying your Tour, my hubs & I just got back from All Star Music & enjoyed it, we like All Star Movies too! :-)

      Jess, Oh, no worries about the premier, but thank you for checking out our vlog! My wife was at Music last spring, she says the resorts are both very similar. Glad you enjoyed Music! Two weeks we'll be off property tho, back to the Timeshare. 😀

      If Disney has some more hotel discounts (on the discount hotels) , I would definitely go back.

      I've heard it's gotten better since Chapek has left. And the prices have dropped a bit since last summer. I would have no problem going back. BTW, I'm only suggesting to avoid the sections furthest from the pool. Thank you for your comment. :)

    Great tips here, I’ve not stayed at a Value Resort so it was disappointing to hear that you didn’t rate the food.
    I agree about the Mighty Ducks, I’ve not heard anything about that in years. Younger children staying there would be right in being confused about it. I wonder when Disney will refurbish this area?

      It was a great place to spend the weekend and the MNSSHP. Not sure If I'd go back to this resort tho. ( unless they had an incredibly deep cut/ discount). I did hear there was a Disney+ Mighty Ducks, but I think it flopped. Personally, never a fan.

    You seem to have alot of negative comments about Movies Resort. Why did you stay? You have a complained about the Stir Fry Chicken, and a lady was there to order. You complained about the check in. There could have been a gliched in the system. I give your video a thumbs down. We plan on coming back and staying again.

      mrscelopez57 I sorry if you feel that I was being too negative in my review. I was trying to be as fair as possible, while I don't try to make a point of bashing Disney in general. But at the same time I don't try to paint a "life is perfect" image and gloss over the problems that do occur when you are on a Disney Vacation. The point of making a vlog in my opinion is to share your experience truthfully in the hopes that you can encourage others to make educated decisions on how they make their vacation plans.
      The fact was we had a generally satisfactory time on our stay. I thought I was quite clear on my assessment of the check in process, I was not criticizing the wait for our room. It was our choice to wait for an hour and a half for our room. We had watched other vlogs and they suggested we wait for a room closer to the pool. So that is why we choose to wait. We also pointed out that the room key did not work on the Disney APP. From what I understand this is a common problem that happens when you wait for the room. My Wife and her friends stayed at ALL-Star Music 4 months earlier and had the same issue with the door opening from the Disney APP. I was not criticizing, I was just stating a fact. I am glad others have also pointed this problem out. Maybe Disney can fix this problem in the future if more people are aware.
      When it came to the food. I have to say I did have a big problem with that. And I think this was more of a problem when the former CEO of the company started price gauging the resorts and food last summer. The quality of the food also seemed to be suffering too. I actually elaborated more on this point in the vlog, but I try to keep the vlogs under 20 minutes so I had to make some cuts. The lack of "healthy" fast food was very diminished. I have health issues and pizza and burgers are not an option. I actually had a Chicken salad earlier in the day and the chicken was over cooked and the lettuce was brown. I have stayed in quite a few of the Disney resorts, and I can say this was definitely my worst food experience. The next closest option for me would have been to take a bus to POP Century for a different selection of food. That was not an option on that day. I am hoping that enough people have actually complained about prices and quality, and the problem has been addressed by now. It is now nice to see they are not charging for parking and they are offering deep discounts for Disney Resorts now.
      I am glad that you have had such a positive experience at ALL-STAR Movie resort. I have heard many great experiences from people who have stayed there in the past before COVID. I hope that one day when I return the food will return to the quality that I remember from a Disney Resort.
