22:27 Ahhhhhh, pool nights! With so much focus on the parks, people forget that a late night swim, especially with kids and family, can be more magical than the parks. Some of my favorite memories are of my girls swimming at night, playing with other kids, while parents just sit back and relax.

I am a solo traveler and have stayed at value resorts for 25 years. Had to drop Pop and AOA because they got stupid expensive. I currently have 4 stays booked and the total cost of all four trips is $2138 for a total of 18 nights. Music and Movies are my favorite. The preferred rooms are climbing in price so I’ll walk a couple of extra minutes. The old layout had the night stand easily accessible from both beds.

I've stayed at all the value resorts except AoA, I just can't bring myself to pay the extra for it. When I stayed at Movies I was in Mighty Ducks and it's just a short walk to the lobby and buses. My only issues with the values are no cover at the bus stops and no hot tubs at the pools. I love the new rooms, the food courts have stepped up their game as well. I actually don't even dislike the buses, I drive down from Georgia so always have a car but park it and don't get in it again until I leave. I tend to stay at the values for a couple of nights at the beginning of a split stay. I've stayed at all the moderates except French Quarter, CSR is my favorite moderate. I've stayed at all the deluxe resorts except WL, for some reason it just never happens. I've also stayed at BWV and OKW. Oh, and we've even camped at the Fort in our RV. I've also stayed at Swan/Dolphin. My all time favorite resort is YC. I love the vibe of it and love being able to walk to both Epcot and HS.

I like the value resorts because when my friend and I go we spend most of the time in the parks and not the room. When there’s just two people it works out great. I’ve only stayed at Pop Century and I liked it just fine. Many years ago back in the 80’s my then husband and I went to WDW for the first time. We only spent the weekend but still had a great time. We spent one night at the Poly and the second night at the Contemporary. I loved the Poly. Back then it was $100 per night. We thought that was so expensive. It was the 80’s after all. I can’t imagine what those cost now. This was a fun video.

I stayed at All Star Music and I will definitely stay again. The only warning I give - a bullet I dodged by a mere day...find out of there are any competitions going on. I missed the cheerleading competition...was checking in as they were checking out. It would have been a whole different stay had I been there the week before. Disney Marathon, spring break, grad and whatever the Christian gathering is (my friend was there then and there were young 'uns getting it on in every corner, behind every tree and every hallway. I can see the people who need things to look after the kids outside of park hours, they would probably want the mid-range ones with the kids clubs but All Stars is a great trio.

Hey, Deni, was there enough bedding? It looked like it was just sheets. I know you mentioned no comforter. Is there anything for warmth? Sometimes air conditioning can get too cold for me and I like something to cuddle under. I have stayed at that resort before but I think I remember a quilt or something. I am disappointed to see that there really isn't much theming in the room, at least not like it used to be. There was always a Disney border around the room and the quilt/comforter was Disney themed. The room, IMO, seemed too sparse and generic (except for the little bit above the beds.)

When the value resort prices went up, we started renting a VRBO house very close to the parks. It was huge, very nice, and had a private pool and hot tub. My family loved it. Since we bring our car, it was no problem. I have stayed at all of the All Stars, but since we have rented the house the last two trips, my family won't go back to a Disney resort. I may have to do a solo trip just to experience a Disney resort again. I miss it.Pop was my favorite value.

Deni! Thanks so much for this video. Like you, and as a DVC member, I have never stayed at a value resort. I was very pleasantly surprised at the appearance of your room. It got rid of a lot of misconceptions I had. So happy to see carpets disappearing across the resorts as well as the sleeper sofas! Let’s get them ALL gone! How was the noise level at night? That’s one complaint I’ve heard consistently is that the walls are very thin and that you can hear everything that your neighbors are doing. I love the theming around the resort, I would have liked to have seen a little more in the room. Just a couple more pieces of Disney art on the walls would do the trick. Anyway, great video (literally no vloggers go to the All-Star properties) and a great service to many who may be on the fence thinking value resorts aren’t up to snuff. You’ve opened my eyes at least 😊 Thanks Deni!!!

Thanks so much for doing this -- I love Fantasia (I actually have a collection of stuff Fantasia inspired) -- I've stayed at Ft Wilderness Cabins, Polynesian Resort and Caribbean Beach before. Honestly this doesn't look any worse than Caribbean Beach was (not that it was bad, had a great vacation). The Skyliner is not an option for me (I turn into a gibbering idiot on gondolas and sky lifts - terrified of heights). It might actually be worthwhile to just rent a car and stay at All Stars, then drive to the hotels I want to eat at. Usually when we go we eat mainly quick service with a couple of nice meals per vacation. With the Disney Dining Plan coming back (yipee) this will work nicely since the nice places I want to eat at are all at the hotels and very expensive we can save money on the regular meals. I like the fact that they have fridges in even the value resort rooms.

Hi Deni, please stay and review the other value resorts? I stayed at Pop 5 years ago at pool view preferred and liked it. A few things I didn't care for was the jutting bed platforms. I was covered in bruises by the time I left. We had a manual wheelchair and was able to cram it in the room. I'm not sure if an motorized chair could fit. The shower was slippery and didn't know mats could be provided. I loved the fridge and the TV. Thanks for the food court review too:). Ohh, the bus. It was standing room only on our first bus ride. I'm older and my brother had mobility issues and didn't have his chair yet. I don't know how we made that first trip without having an accident.
