Missionaries do watch John Crist! I am one. We even pray for you. And we really like biblical humor. Please do more. Those ladies had to be joking and it looks like they just finished a day of evangelism training.
John and crew you bring so much to the table, in a way so many need to hear and would love if they listened. We Christians are pretty quirky. Sincere but yeah……
I live in Namibia. English is the official language here, not the most spoken language though. Only about 3% of people in Namibia speak english in their homes. Love a good laugh and enjoy the podcast. Thanks.
I was a sunday school teacher and left the church and homeschool now and I asked my daughter why oil and water doesn't mix and she said sin??? 😅😅😅😅My lessons overlapped 🤣🤣🤦🤦
Christians do the "pick it up and preach" thing because that's what Jesus did all throughout his ministry. It's not a Protestant thing; it's a Jesus thing. Mustard seeds, mountains, vines, and branches. He'd just point to stuff in the vicinity and say, "This is how this thing is like the Kingdom of God." He was sitting with a woman by a well and says, "...I would have given you living water." But more importantly, it's illustrative of a broader Biblical truth: The elements of physical realty are lived-out metaphors of deeper realities. The physical sun exists primarily so that we understand passages like Rev 21:23; Jesus is the antecedent sun, the real thing. Marriage exists primarily so that we understand the relationship between Christ and the Church. Physical water exists primarily so that we understand something about Jesus... that He is Living Water, the real thing. Physical lions exist primarily so we understand things like Rev 5:5 when it calls Jesus "the Lion of the tribe of Judah." He is the real thing; lions are the metaphor.
John, I love your jacket!!!! I deliver for a well-known delivery service on days I don't work. If I see a tip, I will snatch that up quicker than a delivery with no tip. My 1st job was at a pizza parlor in 2004 and I rarely got tips working as a cashier. Honestly, (because I have excellent long-term memory) in the 3.5 years I worked there, I received 3 tips. Now that I have kids and a dog, I really hustle.
Backing Alex on the Fun Size one bite. Who on earth is savoring a “bite-sized” candy bar when you’ve got a pillowcase of candy to polish off?! Ain’t nobody got time for that.
As a former door dasher, the reason your delivery will be delayed because the dasher may not accept the delivery. Dashers can see the tip and fee they will get for taking that dash. If it isn't economically sound, like $2 for a 15 mile trip tona restaurant that you know is slow, you pass. That is why your delivery is delayed. Only one dasher is offered the delivery at a time. Therefore, it can take a long time to find someone willing to take that no tip trip.
John is hilarious, I've seen him in person and i laugh from beginning to end. Not sure on this if the guy wearing black is awake or disinterested, but the guy in green is doing his part 😅
I’m here for that podcast idea. Sorta mean, but also something that I would lmao at, because it’s hilarious. Also, be honest, if the music artists come on that podcast, they may be unknowingly humiliated, but they get the exposure. Win-win.
Regarding tipping - TIP is an acronym for "to ensure promptness" Tipping actually used to be done at the time of ordering (such as your Uber ride) to get the best ROI. And yes, I started out as a server at Chili's at age 19. I've been managing restaurants both full service and quick service for 30 years, I've seen the evolution of 3rd party delivery. We have orders that cannot get a driver because the guest does not tip, which is the result of it taking "longer" than a tipped order. The Doordash and Grubhub tips actually go to the driver, not our team. So, I'm not saying tips are right are wrong, there is definitely a place and a time to reward a person for promptness! And yes, ensure was probably misspelled as insure to get the TIP anacronym! See you in April in Redding, CA! We go to Valley Christian Family, if you need a mid-sized church to attend.
I do uber eats and there are SO MANY people who do not leave tips or leave a bare min tip. even after I stand in a restaurant for 10+ minutes waiting for the order to be cooked and i message them updates. I accept orders as long as they pay me over how many miles I have to drive.
First time seeing the “pick it up & preach”.. those girls are obviously being silly 😂 It doesn’t even make sense to do that w/Christians .. it only makes sense if you’re in a conversation w/a non believer or brand new believer & you’re trying to teach them something biblical. Often times you have to dumb it down & relate it to something familiar to them. Jesus used tangible items to illustrate his points so I get it but yeah randomly doing it w/Christians like you’re talking to kids is bizarre.

My favorite part of the pod is Andrew’s laugh in the background. 😂

I haven't heard Andrew being introduced in forever!! Andrew is my favorite!

“I’m gonna get so many things done today!” 🤣☠️
I mean to be fair: I did say never to stop the country of the week 😂😂 BUT obviously the rest of the podcast is fire as well.
31.31 singing ¨my heart will go on¨...hilarious
I fully expect the Manscape promo writer includes something in the Thanksgiving promo about providing all the trimmings.
Wish you would come to Oklahoma! 🙂
We had Mormon missionaries speak- 18 years old & they were very preacher like! They are learning it somewhere!
Please do the country musician podcast! Hilarious!!!
Alex w the dark deep jokes. “Some blankets” 😅😅😬
Fun size is 2 bites. The windbreaker is taking me back to my teenage years!
John Crist and Jeff Allen have officially turned me from writing "blue" anymore. I'm cleaning up my jokes permanently. Why be negative??
👏🏾 . . . Gives you a much more diverse audience! 👍🏾
Going blue is a substitute for creativity.

The tie dye Mercedes shirt but be Alex’s favorite, I feel like I see him wear it in like every episode 😂

Here again to ask for a full version of the theme song.
Wait because the rock, pebble, sand demonstration is legit!!!!
Damn it must have been windy in the studio today… John the 80’s called and they want their jacket back bro!

RUclips won’t post my edit. 😡
Not only was it free but there was chances of winning money, six flags tickets free Krispy Kreme a bunch of stuff!
John trying to talk ovulation/cycles😅😂
😆!
I would rather listen to the Nat’l Anthem sang poorly than watch someone kneel.
Never say never, cover your butt legally
Adele actually stopped a show recently!! Cause security was trying to get a kid to sit down cause the people behind him couldn’t see.
You are misunderstanding how tips work on the delivery systems, drivers pick from a whole list of deliveries, and will choose ones with tips
Yes, exactly.
I once saw a girl combine two Instagram niches: biblical counseling and a makeup pyramid scheme.
😂
Better yet on the table, the top of the table is God.. take away God, all the legs will fall to the ground. Boom.
We out here on this 11.10.23
Fact check #2: No, we did not necessarily “Win” the War of 1812 either. John, did you home school? 😂
