I have been listening to this is the car and I am dying laughing at you guys. As a Mom and Step Mom...the Dad was 100% right leaving the wife behind for *starbucks*🙄
As a mom, step mom and wife....the husband was absolutely right. His wife is an adult woman who was being very passive aggressive. I could see getting mad if he didn't say a word and left but he gave her tons of options. 🤦
Re: Disney Dad. If my husband ever writes a book it needs to be called “Don’t Detox at Disney and Other Helpful Advice for Alcoholics” because he decided to stop drinking the week we took our kids to Disney. Was not the most magical experience because travel, crowds, public transportation, etc are his least favorite things… but he’s been sober two years now (after drinking daily for 2 decades) and that’s pretty amazing.
I just waited in TSA line for two hours in Miami - literally people around me knowing they've missed their flight already. My husband sets off the metal detector with his belt (WTH? He knows better) and has to go through the body scanner (another long line) and has failed to wear slip on shoes.) I thought the boarding door would be closed already, but I tell him I'm running for the gate - not waiting for him. Got there and there were others who were late due to TSA still checking in - I'm standing there wondering if I should get on the plane or not! Luckily, he didn't take time to put on belt and shoes after security and gets there before doors close. It was ALL TSA fault for having a two hour line for domestic flights - and I still wondered if I should get on. If he's in the bathroom or food line somewhere, I'm not waiting. Married 31 years - no married person is so selfish as to risk missing a flight for coffee.
Ok so on the Zanesville thing. It was perfectly legal at the time for him to have all the animals, to my understanding the animals were not able to be put in zoos or other places for some reason they were rejected. He was saving their lives by taking them in. The animals were like his children and for a while law-enforcement would call him if a deer or some thing was killed and he would pick it up and feed it to the animals when possible. Not all of the animals needed to die that night. Some of them were shot in their cages, but some were out and going into neighbors yards and walking down the street. The sheriffs department did not call the zoo until the next day, and that next morning Jack Hanna cried on TV because they had killed so many animals that could have been handled differently. My father was a personal friend of Terry and will tell you he would’ve never killed himself!!! There’s a book written by the caretaker of the animals He was there that night with the sheriffs department. I have the book if you want it, I will gladly send it to you. He described in the book that the gun that Terry was killed with was a pistol registered to Local sheriffs deputy. He also explains Terry did not earn any pistols because they would’ve done nothing against animals if some thing needed to be done or things got out of hand with the animals. He describes in detail what happened that night and I really think you should read the book!!
as a wife, i condone the man leaving his wife behind at the airport, she needed a solid dose of reality, planes don’t care if you need your coffee and time is a friend of no one. get it together lady.
Regarding the plane/coffee situation, if he had not boarded and had missed his flight, then he has to tell his bio daughter, “sorry we’re going to miss your graduation because my new wife had to get a latte.” Seriously, miss your bio daughter’s big event bc the lady who is not her mother was so self-absorbed that she didn’t care if she made it to the event or not. Not to mention when you skip a flight like that you get no credit or refund for the missed flight and you have to rebook at crazy high prices. This is a serious sign that the lady you married is all about herself.
My uncle left his girlfriend at the airport, same situation. Flying 1000 to see his family for Thanksgiving and he told her there was no time to get a snack. She didn't listen. He left her there. They didn't last too much longer. Lol
I am SOOO with you guys on having everything ready, being prepared for everything lol!! Tickets ready, waiting on the plane (SMH), etc 😆😆😆 Love the discussion around the Disney Dad lol!
The step-mom needing coffee, there are other reports that say she has done this before. I can't say that I blame the husband for his actions on this repeat offender.
As for waiting, I ordered coffee and egg rounds from a drive thru and the person taking money at the window asked if I wanted to leave a tip. She aggressively asked, made lingering eye-contact. Dude, I said: 'I already exceeded my fast-food budget, so.....' she said: 'I understand, it's fine....' and I pulled away, took one bite of my 'egg & cheese rounds and they were FROZEN. FROZEN EGGS. Should I have turned around, risking being late to nursing class? Should I have sat at the window, taken a bite and checked my food, before I took off?' I was SO glad Ieft no tip. Had I left a tip? I would've been so pissed. Such an issue. So glad you put this on blast.
23:52 if she is that much of Starbucks head she has the app. She could have ordered ahead. By the time she got there she wouldn’t have to get on line. Just grab the drink and then HUSTLE it back to the terminal to get on the plane on time.
Also worked at Chick-fil-A and honestly the pickle sandwhiches that have been sitting under the heat light for 15-20 minutes are honestly really good. The whole sandwhich is really warm. Sometimes the fresh ones have a cold bun.
The plane situation, you all nailed it at the end. I’d just give the “I’ll be on the plane” line and let the chips fall where they fall. The Disney one may be staged, but I’d need to know number of kids to confirm. Having seven, statements that come out of my mouth when I finally hit the wall are far more creative than they were when we had one.
If it's the story I read before, the wife had made him miss seeing his daughter before. He hadn't seen her in awhile and he was tired of his wife making him miss his child and her events. His wife had beef or something with the daughter.
As for waiting for someone In line, it depends on if it is something they should have reasonably done beforehand. If not, I’m fine. The example at the airport is a good one. I only have two hands and can only do all of TSAs security things so fast. But you better have your Costco card out cuz we got places to be! Go to the customer service desk!
My friend went to see Billy Strings in Nashville last week. He had paid for reserved parking near the venue. His friends as well. Friends had no problem, but he got ticketed for 95.00 even though he was legally parked right next to his friends. Crazy.
My husband doesn’t get stressed about holding up a line. It’s 100% got to be a lack of empathy for others. I get stressed about holding other people up, BUT I have no issue telling McD’s that they messed up my order.
I remember seeing this on the news when it happened. I believe they said that he released the animals, broke cages or locks so that the animals couldn't be put back in them, then killed himself.
Columbus Zoo also has The Wilds park which is out in that area so I don't know that the over flow of animals is a plausible things. The Wilds is a huge park.
As a timely person, I 100% agree that the husband should have left her. He warned her. He called her. And we don't know how often this kind of thing has happened before! If it was unintentional or an accident to be late, maybe not. But choosing coffee over being on time is rude and deserves to be left. Also, who knows the finances of the couple? If they both miss the flight, that is TWO additional last minute tickets that need replaced. If he goes that's only one ticket.
Guy in line confidence needs to be on display at a doctor office. They already rush in, rush out after you have been waiting for the doc for 1 hour. Take your time when you get your time.
I am with yall not wanting to hold anyone up in a line or ask about an order that gets messed up. But I am allergic to tomatoes which is so weird but also in everything. I have to ask for no ketchup on a burger and when they mess it up, I either ask for it to be fixed or I can’t eat the burger.
25:04 the part of the story that’s missing is that they had previously went to visit the daughter and she made him either crazy late or miss the visit all together because step mom can’t get her shit together. The step mom also won’t let him go visit daughter solo. So if you’re not going to let him go alone, not going to be respectful of his time with his daughter, etc…. Then the step mother deserves Eve ey thing coming to her.
He was right to leave his wife at the airport. She was trying to miss the flight because seeing his daughter was clearly not a priority. The blame is hers.
Absolutely love the podcast… wife and I have been to 2 of your shows. Y’all are killing it! Keep it up! Side note, please don’t talk to people off mic! Nobody can hear what they are saying and it’s super frustrating. 😂
Ok, the airport situation. I'm far from type A, but I'm an anxious traveler. My husband would be the one getting coffee last minute. I would probably tell him I'm boarding and he can meet me on there, also grab me a latte lol. I'd be very disappointed to not get my latte, because he missed the flight. He wouldn't dare go down to Starbucks 😂.
Nah I told my husband.. if that was me insisting on waiting in line at Starbucks (I would never) leave my ass! My husband would never but it would be within his right. Making him miss the flight because you have to have Starbucks is crazy. Also I respect other ppl’s time & try to move quickly but I’m 100% the speak up kind of person. I have zero problem w/asking them to fix my order. My husband is not confrontational so he won’t say anything.
Just proving that you don't have kids. The kids don't have to be in on it to make that video, could totally be fake, you just wait until they're being a little noisy, and then start filming that. Definitely fake because I'm pretty sure she wouldn't start filming that with the kids screaming already, unless she was going to say something about that.
alex and andrew are some of the best podcast co-hosts ive listened to, the banter and chemistry of you 3 is unmatched, seamless, HILARIOUS
is this Andrew's mom?
I live for every time Andrew says “For SURE.” 😩😩😭
I have been listening to this is the car and I am dying laughing at you guys. As a Mom and Step Mom...the Dad was 100% right leaving the wife behind for *starbucks*🙄
Amen!
As a mom, step mom and wife....the husband was absolutely right. His wife is an adult woman who was being very passive aggressive. I could see getting mad if he didn't say a word and left but he gave her tons of options. 🤦
As all the above also, I 💯 agree! How selfish of her!

Episode 100…. LIVE FROM ZANESVILLE
LETS GO!
That would be LEGIT!

....which tells me step mom says starbucks is more important than his actual daughter's life and event!!!!!

Looking to send a piece of physical mail to John? Not a problem! Please use the P.O. Box 40268 Nashville….”
You should definitely send it to them!
Plane story: No way this was the first time her lateness was a problem. I’m guessing he was over it at this point.
Good for the husband for leaving the wife. Maybe she won’t be irresponsible next time lol
Cell tower worker here! Thanks for the shout out🫡
A known industry joke is that we “get paid to get high” so you’re not wrong!
I'd leave her. As an adult she should already know that actions have consequences.
as a wife, i condone the man leaving his wife behind at the airport, she needed a solid dose of reality, planes don’t care if you need your coffee and time is a friend of no one. get it together lady.
A Starbucks pro would have ordered the Starbucks ahead of time before she ever got off the first plane…

Calling 3 and 5 year olds infants 😅😅😅
My husband as we entered Magic Kingdom @ Disney World --- "THIS is the most magical place on Earth? I'm disappointed. " 🤣
The step-mom needing coffee, there are other reports that say she has done this before. I can't say that I blame the husband for his actions on this repeat offender.
He could have just flown back to that airport later and she still would have been in line!
Alex gets +10 for sneaking in that Friday Night Lights reference👏🏻

I'm Team Leave 'Em. My husband is late for EVERYTHING. I've made him drive separately to church because he was late.
My friend went to see Billy Strings in Nashville last week. He had paid for reserved parking near the venue. His friends as well. Friends had no problem, but he got ticketed for 95.00 even though he was legally parked right next to his friends. Crazy.
We’re gonna need a live & onsite report from Zanesville. I’m hooked. Send Andrew for the report. This is only the beginning 😳😯🤔
My wife and I are both on time for everything.
Anyone having issues downloading or streaming the last two episodes of the Podcast?
Alex is already in dad mode, he knows the Disney Dad was real. The escalation of the yell is key. He is over it with those “infants” and the videos.
Thankful ❤❤❤ a map...I guess I 🎉v don't have to mail the globe and atlas? Love and prayers from Casper Wyoming ❤
And since when can you take liquids on the plain.??

Still in the positive!
Andrew Gang!
Andrew is giving David Koresh vibes with those glasses. 🤦🏼♀️

Twirking isn’t going to bring Daddy home

You’re going to need a compass with your atlas.
Since when can you bring liquids on the plane?

Where did the NCAA medals and rings come from?! #tirepump
The Disney rage is "fake". Their whole TT page is like this and full of skits. 566M+ followers. Yeah...definitely fake. LOVE this episode!
My bf is the king of “I’ll be in the car”
They said Joe Exotic had been to Zanesville... And now there is a conspiracy that the animals were cut loose and Terry was killed? Hmmmmmm 🤔🤔
How is the number 23 the ANTICHRIST #???? Angel 23 is supposed to be like balance and harmony in relationships!

Twirling is healing??? CRAZY NASTY HANDS ON FLOOR!!!!
FACT CHECK- Stop saying the drop it low video is real! It’s from 10 years ago and it’s from a TV show

Extra unethical if kids don't know
The guy yelling was too much. Traumatizing for the kids and wife. It looked like the wife was about to cry.😢
Elevator mechanics get high at work!!!
