Fading Steps:
1st step, guideline with zero
2nd step, guideline with .5 (no guard lever open)
3rd step, guideline 1.5
4th step, 2.5 blend outwards
5th step blend out top guideline w/ 1.5 guard open to 3 qtr
6th, step, blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
7th, step, continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard open to 3 qtr
8th step, blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
9th step, open lever half way, continue blending
10th step, continue blending with lever open
11th step, do any touch up work
12th step, use trimmers to take out bottom hair
13th step, use electric shaver

I’m way up in NorCal but Im about to try this haircut on somebody in 15 minutes. He’s got a scar on each side of his head above the ear and this cut hides his scars perfectly! Dope cut.

You can use scissors to get that line out the fade too. The most basic tool is the most effective!
