very informative video. also, if you bought a presto card, don't throw away your presto card. it's very useful to ride the TTC system and the York Regional Transit. You just need to find a Presto refill station at Union Station or at all TTC subway stations and YRT stations
Thank you!! Very informative video. By the way, can you recommend a safe place to store my carry on baggage for a couple of hours? I will be in Toronto for the day during a long stopover and I would like to take a tour.
I’ve never used it, but there is a company called Excess Baggage in both terminals that will store luggage for a few hours to a few weeks. Search them out for more info.
thank you for the video, I will be visiting Toronto from Nova Scotia this november, Toronto is a lot bigger then Halifax so i thank you for making this easier
I visited Toronto from the US last year and I took the UP train to Niagara Falls from Union Station. I was surprised that they didn't even check my tickets. They rely on the honor system. I have heard that you can be randomly checked for a ticket but I didn't see that happen. Had a great time, just wish I could have stayed longer.
C'mon Torontonians!... You didn't provide some key information!... TIMETABLE!... What is the earliest and the latest run of the UP Express from PEARSON Terminal 1?... What about Saturdays and Sundays?...
Bicycles that can be folded or stored in an aircraft-ready bicycle box are allowed. You can take a regular bike to the airport using regular transit however, it just takes longer. The Up Express’s sole purpose is to transport people to the airport from downtown and vice versa. You can’t just bring a bike to the airport and check it in like you do your baggage. If you really wanted to travel with your bike you would have to pack it in a hard shell container specifically designed for shipping a bicycle. The handlebars would have to be fixed sideways, the padels must be removed and the tires would have to be partially deflated so they don’t burst during pressurization. The crated bike would then have to be dropped off at a facility that isn’t even near in the terminal for it to be loaded onto the plane. If you have to go through all of this just to travel with your bike, taking the Up Express would be a terrible option. So, contrary to your comment, the Up Express is actually a very good design.
This video was incredibly helpful. Thanks for sharing!

I was on this train for the very first time...back on the evening of May 21, 2023! This marked the first time in many years I was ever on a train!

You must have taken the Go train, UP express does not go to Niagara
That is how oneshould make a video! Thank you
Hmm, did the colours of the Presto card change? I have a green one.
Yes - the new ones are now black. Original was green.
How often does the train run? Is there a schedule for it? Thanks for the video
Currently it is running every 30 minutes. But check their site closer to your traveling date. In the Summer it was running more frequently.
Thank you for your informative video.
Can you use one card for 2 persons? Even in the metro?
No - each person needs their own card for all modes of transportation.
@@VisitTorontoVideos Thank you for clarifying that.
Great video!
Great video thank you …

i have 3 suitcases do i get any trolly or something to carry them till train
There are carts that you can use for free to get your bags in the luggage area. However, I am not sure how close to the train you can take them.
Is the Presto Card a nice souvenir from your trip to Toronto?
It could be I guess. But you can also use it for discounts to many attractions. www.prestocard.ca/en/about/presto-perks
@@VisitTorontoVideos I meant when you get home!
the machine acceps U.S dollar? It's awesome
Not sure if it would accept US$. But it would accept a US credit card.
août 2024. et cette vidéo est très utile, très bien expliqué merciiii.
So you tap the presto card only once you get off at Union Station?( In this trip from the airport to union )
You tap before you get on at the airport. If you end up at Union you don’t need to tap again. You will be charged the full fare.
@@VisitTorontoVideos ah thanks 😊
Can I buy a presto card with an American credit card?
Yes
Just what I need, thank you!!
Yea I love trainsit
Thank you❤
thank you for sharing.
Great video, now I'm going to search for "how to take the TTC subway without getting stabbed."
Hi everyone

The time table is constantly changing. The best thing is to look at the website the day before you travel.
They don't allow bicycles. That sucks. Very poor design.
