One thing I miss about my old job is that it was next to a major roundabout that went to a 70km/h road. I would always hear those Police Chrysler 300s absolutely boot it coming out of the roundabout and they sound so damn good.
They don’t make either brand anymore so you are just guessing what engine would be used. Plus there’s more to a car than just an engine. 80% of it is the driver.
@@lesleynichols8308 Probably not. there are more of them and you can’t beat a radio call or vehicle cameras and witnesses with phone cameras. Very few people get away with anything anymore.
Dodge as in reliability is "dodgy" at best. But cheaper than the competitors so let's save money on the front end and keep the union mechanics employed.
Dodge Charger Pursuits which share the same underpinnings as our Chrysler 300 cop cars have served virtually every police department in the US very reliability for decades. The Charger/Challenger/300 platform, the Hemi 6.4L engine and ZF-8 transmission are all known to be reliable workhorses that also offer strong performance. Stop yapping because you have NO idea what you are talking about.
BMW has like twice the range due to being a diseal but maybe a few milliseconds slower however the Chrysler V8 is something different and not to mention the bmw and Chrysler look way more better than commodores and falcons

damn, fancy toys with the driving skills to back them
Imagine if we still had the latest Falcon & Commodore cop cars!
They wouldn’t beat these.
@@vtwin1979 You're insane! A new supercharged coyote highway patrol or a inline 6 Turbo? I beg to differ!

@@vtwin1979 You're right, It would now be the 5.4 litre Coyote which would thrash the Chrysler 300 or the BMW!
Thats not a guess. That is the current Ford performance powertrain in the Mustang!
0:54 THAT TURBO 🤤🤤
Got to keep they game on strong to keep up with young 13 year old kids
They just get away because pursuits get Insta terminated by radio 😢
NSW police cars look great the 300c srt is awesome
2:59 I can tell that officer was having a really good time
Nice cars I like the second car when he revs it!! (I’m from the WA not from NSW btw!)
Reminds me of the VK smokey 1 Vic police had many years ago. That ran 12.3s at 181kph
I went last year it was a blast!!
If you think you're fast, they're faster.
