I defeated him with the same weapon you used but in hard mode.One piece of advice in his no mercy state don't get close to him and don't even attack him unless he is with extremely low health(just use melee).And to dodge the hammers just jump high.My score was 3-1 after 25 tries.Even in hard mode this guy's too op.
