I’ve also failed so many times in my academic, work, and social life. I went to 4 different colleges, changed career after getting a masters from my previous degree, was unemployed for years after graduating, got let go of jobs twice, and got rejected from girls many times….i don’t think anyone has been rejected so many times in life than me….each rejection has made me more humble in life….i know there are less fortunate people in the world so I can’t complain….i just have to keep moving forward

Got rejected by girls I can understand but 4 different colleges and fired twice? Failures are only mothers of successes if you learn from them, so you don't rinse and repeat them all over again otherwise they are more like dysfunctional alcoholic fathers who beat their success children and lock them up so none sees the light of the day.

Don't be afraid to fail but learn from your failures. You don't get forward by failing constantly.

I'm really skeptical of people who always flaunt success.
Usually they are trying to fool you into something.

The problem is people say this but cannot accept others failing.

I think a lot of people fail and are just afraid to admit it... I've failed numerous times and it's not a good feeling but I think a worse feeling is never trying

the worst is to be a slave of your own fear and eventually never try again. Failing in itself is totally ok, and part of the process.

Failure is the real "f word" because it has a sense of finality, a sense of not getting another chance. Some things in life are like that, but most aren't. Stay on the path, take ownership of what is within your control, and you will reach your destination!

1 - internships and study abroads are essential during school summers. Completely separates you from others who didn’t.
2- apply to all your #1 schools, backups , and if you haven’t ALL the Ivy leagues. I got accepted from the only Ivy League I applied to and actually forgot about it. Hell didn’t even submit my GRE score! You never know. Shoot a lot of baskets.
3- something im learning - always look for the next job and don’t stay at a job for too long in your young years. It slows your pay down significantly. Instead stay for 2-3 years mastering that role, then find a slightly higher position and repeat.
4- work hard at saving and investing early. The earlier the better for compounding and to realize mistakes earlier on that later.

Totally remember the feeling of toughing out 8 years of trying to graduate with a CS degree because I didn't want to end up like my siblings in 2009, all to graduate into 2020. That feeling of no matter what you did you got that outcome. Though I can't say I have any regrets, things just happen.

I have failed so many times and in so many ways.
Though up to this point it has always worked out.
I’m going to hope that despite this crazy job market my previous experience of things working out will continue.
I would feel more optimistic if less kids were entering the field and the AI hype died down a bit.

Why do people do this to themselves? Forcing themselves to become tech workers like it's actually heaven? I'm a surgeon and couldn't imagine devoting like to a computer. God is given.

Just like I can not imagine myself to be a surgeon. I know it is an important job. I am just not interested enough to start study it. Why do I keep pushing tech, and programming? Passion. Faith. Purpose. What else is needed?

Software engineer at one of those big companies here... I think one lesson that I had early on that I treasured is the following thing:
In a piece of software, you set a vision for what the product will be, and each step you take can lead you to a different direction, but still should be somewhat heading towards the final vision. This will allow you to eventually get to the ideal vision, despite being diverted along the way.
This is the same stance I take in life. Have a vision/goal/focus for where you want to go. In the process of taking steps, ensure that they are somewhat aligned (most likely not directly aligned), but as long as you're taking steps that are at least somewhat pointing to your final goal, the accumulation of efforts will result you being closer to your goal than if you were aimlessly taking steps hoping for a "golden" moment.

    Hello 🍎
Pay attention to video editing also.
This is quite low, edit in good style.
Because it is very important in your video.

  • @emilybrowno
    @emilybrowno Месяц назад +7

Video Editing is too low 👎👎👎👎
Edit the video in a good style.
Add nice b-roll animation when you are speaking or explaining something. This will increase visualization.
Put proper subtitles, effects, transitions, and colors in the video.
Insert the B-Roll (footage and animation) very well because it is absolutely low in your video.
Do all this and then see how the video doesn't turn out good.
