Always loved this bluesy standard. In today's lesson I show you the chords and breakdown the harmony. Links to chart and chords in the description as well as a link to my Patreon page.
I just discovered your channel yesterday, watching the most amazing tele pickup comparison. An now this beautifuly delivered lesson. Thank you so much!
Great lesson, thanks. Strange thing about the video is that every other RUclips vid has a button with three dots and when you click it you can save the video to a playlist to watch later but this video doesn't have that option.
@@jazzguitarwithandy You read my mind! The C7 was my 2nd non-diatonic question! Thanks. Your harmonic analysis of all these songs has really helped me to understand voice leading in a very concrete way. You are the best teacher I've run across in 8 years........on both continents! Be well.

Thank you very much for the comment - glad you like the channel. Welcome 🎸
My jazz quartet is preparing for a gig this weekend. Gonna use your tutorial to nail this immortal standard! Thx man👍🏿
You are very welcome - good luck for the gig.

Thanks. Not sure why that is - odd!
NICE!!! I cannot wait to try this. New subscriber here! Thank you, for doing this.
Thanks for the sub :)
Thanks a lot Andy. You've explained my "mystery" of the G7 in a GMaj key. I guess with jazz-blues, you make up your own rules! Well done.
You're right about making up the rules! You get some nice voice leading with G7 going to the IV chord (3rd B of G7 goes to the b7 of the C7 chord Bb)
