    Great lesson, thanks. Strange thing about the video is that every other RUclips vid has a button with three dots and when you click it you can save the video to a playlist to watch later but this video doesn't have that option.

    Thanks a lot Andy. You've explained my "mystery" of the G7 in a GMaj key. I guess with jazz-blues, you make up your own rules! Well done.

      You're right about making up the rules! You get some nice voice leading with G7 going to the IV chord (3rd B of G7 goes to the b7 of the C7 chord Bb)

      @@jazzguitarwithandy You read my mind! The C7 was my 2nd non-diatonic question! Thanks. Your harmonic analysis of all these songs has really helped me to understand voice leading in a very concrete way. You are the best teacher I've run across in 8 years........on both continents! Be well.
