Just sharing to help others out there for multi disk games (Night Trap etc) >Got to Core options >NVRAM storage (change to "Shared") >After disc 1 says "insert disc 2" select "close content" >Run disc 2 and the game should run normally (not sure if you need to save a state) Hope this helps! Enjoy! Thanks for posting this tutorial! Really helped alot :D
Need for Speed doesn't work. it gives me an error message that says "NVRAM Full: Configuration not saved!" i tried other Memory capacity options, but none of them did anything.
3do is a rare gem, i used to own a fz1 back in 1995 only bought it because of super street fighter 2 Turbo, i foolishly sold it and considering the prices of fz1s now i think I'd rather emulate it, want to play total eclipse, way of the warrior and night trap.
Yeah, prices seem to fluctuate for it quite wildly. I'm happy to see FZ1 and FZ10 going for around $150 still. Makes it a bit less disgusting to jump into the hardware side of it.
the emulator seems to work, but I always get the image of the console with the disc tray open prompting me to load the game (which I have) then it just shows me space with the R.E.A.L logo lol, I have the BIOS in config, not sure why it's not loading games
Hope someone can help. So I have this on my actual 3DO system and it runs perfect so it’s not a TV issue. But when I play it in retroarch emulator opera it runs and plays great BUT the menu for time outs etc is blank…no text…I can scroll and down to the invisible areas and guess by clicking and call a timeout but can’t see the words…same with down and yardage and score information. Can’t be seen. Any ideas??? Thanks!
Can you provide additional information concerning dumping your own 3DO BIOS? I have looked for information and have been unable to find anything. I recently saw this video where you mentioned that mods could be used for this purpose. Thank you for any help.
It requires a ton of soldering and a specific programmer to do so not something that many will be able to do. Some modders will do it for you for a price.
@@ArchadesGames Thank you for your reply. I have enjoyed watching your other videos on dumping the BIOS files for other consoles. Maybe one day an easier method for the 3DO will be possible also.
is there any other 3do core besides opera? im trying to play Pretty Soldier SailorMoon S but its having issues running, distorted opening music, music muting and game randomly freezing up ;-(

Same here.
I'm just getting a black screen when I load any content. I dropped the bios in the system folder, restarted the program, nothing.
try a different bios.
