Wait a second, sans used good karma on himself and where he should have been dead, he isn't. So the game broke and now he got the powers to alter code of himself. That's the lore right?

He didn't die, good karma only damaged him with 1ATK and he still had bunch of HP left. But yea since the moment he started using good karma code, the game broke(that's why his wound turns into green and his eye starts appearing some glitches). And well he got the power to alter the code from the very beginning so that he can use good karma and determination payback
