The drama overall discusses the idea of embracing change and flying high by losing all the weight for the women of Pakistan
Sar-e-Rah is an exceptionally well-written drama, which discusses the stories that are scattered all around us but unfortunately we tend to shy away from shedding some light over them.
Sar-e-Rah will share the stories of women who are the victim of child marriages, girls who are being suffocated solely because of their gender, daughters who are unable to help their fathers as their honor will be at “stake” and a intersex who is being humiliated for his identity.

"Sar-e-Rah" is the first Pakistani serial I watched and I must confess that I was so completely bowled over that I watched all the 6 episodes in a single sitting like a movie. Top class acting from all actors, crisp editing, tight screenplay, background score, title song, flawless direction and above all a powerful subject of women empowerment, hallmarks the production value of the serial. This serial have changed my opinion of Pakistani drama forever. Looking forward to many more such serials in future. And lastly. not for a moment I felt like watching a Pakistani serial, realising meaning of "same culture" when it comes to India and Pakistan. Congratulations team Sar-e-Rah!!

@@beenajafri9523a huge gesture but I was saddened by it. Amit searched for the parents not out of love but because he could not accept the idea of adopting a child. While his wife was taunted, he never stood up for her and could not even contemplate getting any treatment.

Sar e rah is a masterpiece. This is called women empowerment. It's sad to know this was the last episode. I really enjoyed watching every episode regardless of gender. Hoping to see season 2.
Honestly speaking being a Boy my eyes never turned wet watching the saddest moments of movies and tv series but this episode really got me five times in a row.Hats off to the actors and all the women facing such discrimination in real world and yet blooming to success.

Sarang's story is very heartbreaking. His stepmom and stepbrother are not worthy of being forgiven they always degraded him, put him down and treated him poorly. It is not always easy to forgive people who have caused you so much hurt, suffering and pain.
But dont forget Sarang's upbringing was done by a dad like Shabbir Ahmed. So he had to be of forgiving nature.❤

I'm watching from India, infact this is the first time I'm watching any Pakistani drama, it's amazing and I am overwhelmed,I have no idea that the content of the play is so realistic and mesmerizing, I've seen only six episodes and wishing very succes for all episodes.

the one thing i disliked was her going back to her fiance,, i know it wasnt specifically showed, but indirectly implied that she forgives him. i think it's just very common to show a girl struggling and her partner refusing to be alongside her then, but comes back when she's finally okay. this is not okay and shouldn't be romanticized

I have watched plenty of Pakistani dramas but this one is really a Masterpiece, hats off to the story writer. It was not just a drama but reality of today's life. It didn't drag on for too long but End in just 6 episodes and give lots of lesson and inspirations. I was continuesly smiling and crying in this whole series. It shares the story of women victims of child marriage, girls who are suffocated solely because of their gender, daughters who're unable to help their fathers as their honour will be on stake, and transgender who're being humiliated for their identity, how a woman faces the society when she is not able to give birth and how she faces stress of in laws when she adopt a baby. Inspite of all the challenges faced by everyone in the society if people have positive character and hardwork nature they will definitely meet success and get happy ending❤️❤️

3. We should know our legal rights and we should speak up for our rights when the time comes, just like Rameen
4. If there is a third gender child among us, then like Sarang's father, we should support him, motivate him, so that he can do something and bring glory to his family like Sarang

Too many people assume it’s the woman’s fault.
