    I'm 48 and first started listening to them when I was 10.
    Pink Floyd has music that puts you on a journey that makes sense solely to yourself.

    Greetings from Canada. The guitar solos were by Tim Renwick, formerly of Quiver, and later Sutherland Brothers & Quiver, latterly a top session player. Peace, love and bellbottoms.

    Tim Renwick did the solo, he is not a pink floyd member but a heavy contributor at live events.

    Thank you! The "show" for each song is epic! You leave the concert floating, laughing and crying at the same time. So looking forward to seeing what these old farts can do this year on tour! And I willing be waiting somewhat patiently for your next reaction.

    One thing to know about Pink Floyd is that they made concept albums. Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, and The Wall, for instance, should be listened to in their entirety.

    Shine on you crazy diamond studio version.burn one and kick back, it is killer

  • @williamosborne6866
    @williamosborne6866 3 дня назад

    The second solo guitar section was done by Tim Renwick. Every original Floyd member had a session counterpart (except bass player Guy Pratt) so they could better reproduce their studio overdubs without using pre-recorded material . Lead vocal/guitarist David Gilmour had Renwick, keyboard master Richard Wright was backed by Jon Carin, and drummer Nick Mason was paired with percussionist Gary Wallis. This particular performance was special because it allowed Renwick and Wallis to be featured (rather than fill-in) - a nice touch. Also, props to the background singers Sam Brown, Durga McBroom, and Claudia Fontaine (RIP). When you get to react to the Pulse recreation of "Great Gig In The Sky", they each get a chance to shine with a solo.
    PF is far more than the proverbial "rabbit hole" - they are like a mine shaft, with multiple side tunnels to explore. Just like a mine, the deeper you go, the greater the possible rewards. Keep 'em coming.

    It's actually 3 hours long, in the first half they played the entire Division Bell album and some classics and then in the second half they played the entire Dark Side of the Moon album and more classics so you need to plan your day out if you want to watch it
