I loved your movie. I'm always interested in hearing more about the great guys who never got the recognition they deserved. I also get the idea that Yogi was the kind of guy who loved being a famous athlete. I'm sure he loved people coming up to him and saying ,"Hi." Congratulation, Lindsay, for honouring your grandfather in such a great way.
Thanks for making this movie Yogi was the first manager of the Mets that I could remember We like him at our house because he was Italian As I’m listening to you guys …. I can feel the love you had for Yogi and that to me is the best take away Can’t wait to watch the film Wish you all the best
The Yogi Berra movie will be great!! Can't wait to see it! My grandma is first cousins with Jay's good friend Jim Lampariello, but I never met Jay... Hope to someday, as he seems like a great guy!!
I saw his plaque in the Hall of Fame. I loved the story that your grandmother told him to to submit a photo of him in profile, otherwise his ears would stick out.
1972 started with Gil Hodges succumbing from a heart attack at age 47, then Jackie Robinson after the World Series at age 53 and finally Roberto Clemente on New Year's eve at age 38, a tragic year for Hall Of Famers, Hodges and Robinson played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Roberto was originally signed by them.
I really believe what Larry and Lindsey say about Yogi and Carmen having fun during their 10 years association with the Mets. The Mets started in 1962 as lovable losers and began their ascension, reaching the World Series in 1969 and 1973 while the Yankees stopped being a dynasty. The Mets were anti matter to the Bronx team, their fan base kept growing.
Ken Burns, Baseball Documentary, points out that Yogi, MY MAN, during all that winning. from Baltimore when I went to Yankee Stadium, Took pictures of two plaques, Babe Ruth and Yogi Berra.
Can't wait to see this movie. Love Yogi !
This was great! So looking forward 2 seeing "It Ain't Over".....Thank U 2 The Berra Family!! ❤❤❤

That anecdote at 9:10 about Larry wearing the catcher's gear just to catch Nolan Ryan's warm up pitches at Houston was funny !!! 😄
