Camino del Norte Day 2: Donostia-San Sebastian to Getaria

My knees and ankles are happy. An up and down 17-mile day, but much easier than day one as I left Donostia-San Sebastian and headed to Getaria.
Beautiful sea views combined with lots of pavement, (a common theme on the Norte) and a tough, rocky, muddy forested descent I later found out is the original road dating back centuries. Explains a lot! 😂
It was also a day when I discovered-somewhat to my surprise-that the Camino Spirit is alive and well on the Norte in spite of all the differences to the much more traditional French Way. The Camino provides.
