There’s something about fixing up a second hand Rc its so satisfying and to see the before and after photos is rewarding. What a great job you smashed it right ont of the ball park.✌🏻
Yes the time and money that can sometimes go into a rebuild it ether looking for parts or waiting for them to arrive in the post its all time consuming. I used to race at my local club back in the 90s as i started growing up i left the Rc’s behind and moved on to something else it wasn’t till dec 2019 that i started looking at these models online then jan 2020 i bought the one that i wanted back in the 90s but couldn’t afford at the time which was the kyosho RS200 cut a long story short i now have 5 of my favourite nitros and two of my favourite electrics. Oh i nearly forgot about the vintage usa1 that i bought last week so that would be 6 of my favourite nitros and i am not planning on buying any more lol. 😁
Haha, never say never!! I was similar to that, had a hpi nitro when I was early 20s then left the hobby and saw a Kyosho buggy at an auction I was attending and brought that, the rest as they say is history haha
Hi silverfox. To start with that’s exactly what i said to myself but then the truck that i always wanted came along and i just couldn’t resist especially when you are getting a good deal.
Hi Mic, That bodyshell was a lucky find for me, randomly I found it from a model shop in Estonia but it was the last one. Sadly, they are very hard to find nowadays. I wish you the very best of luck though 👍🏼👍🏼
