I used your recipe yesterday, it was lovely!
I halved the recipe, used only 2 petals of star anise because am not too fond of it, did not add fennel because i didnt have any, and did not add garam masala at the end. I used dry copra(coconut) insteaf of fresh because thats what i had at hand.
The dish tastes "bright" and fresh, a great start to the day.

Very straight and to the point ! Love it. Made a small mistake but it still turned out very good. Instead of cooking the vegetables first, I added the ground coconut+cashew+fennel mix along with the veggies and boiled them. The final dish was just as good as Saravana Bhavan.
