I wish it was straight up "Via's theme" rather than an X vs Zero remix though. Such a Legendary Battle should be left alone until it gets replicated/happens again.
Some say this should've been held back for a more literal X vs. Zero battle, but I have to disagree. ViA and iCO, as vital components of the Maverick Virus given sentience, _are_ part of what makes Zero himself the person he is. The player character in X DiVE represents X's story if not the entire classic timeline's chronology, and ViA likewise represents Zero's own and the lasting impact his existence has beyond the X series. _That_ is what's clashing in ViA -square-'s fight, making the use of X vs. Zero very symbolically appropriate. The only other theme that could fit would probably be Cannon Ball since the Robot Destroyer Program would have to be part of Zero's original programming, but from what I understand ViA -square-'s fight takes after Awakened Zero instead of Omega, so it wouldn't translate well to gameplay.
@@trocytev8783 There's always the comparison between Awakend Zero and Omega. Especially when you see art where he has the Mother Elf energy and hair flowing.
Gotta love the old classic X5 X vs Zero theme (both the original and how it was remixed here). It perfectly captures the emotional feel of the battles it plays for.
I was curious to see whether DiVE Offline could sell me on the most blatant recolor OC I've ever seen in an official product. Turns out, he's actually very likable. ViA basically exists to both mirror and contrast against Zero due to their shared origin. While Zero's guilt and trauma caused him to keep people at arm's length, ViA instead chose to see the beauty in everyday life and greatly treasured the fleeting sense of normalcy that he were allowed to experience, knowing full well that it couldn't last for someone like him. As someone who were cursed with a frail and sickly body from birth that forced me to face my own mortality from a young age, I really do relate to ViA's desire to just enjoy the smaller things in life. He doesn't care about making a lasting mark on the world or anything grandiose like that, he just wants to relax and joke around with those he cares about while ensuring that they'll be fine once he's gone and has something to remember him by.
yeah via is like, super likable. easily my favorite of the new characters. it's ironic that he's the reason for zero going maverick, he's dr. wilys true final middle finger to the world.... but he doesn't actually want to do it. he's a lovable goofball that seems to genuinely want to be the hero that zero ended up being. hell, the malfunction zero suffered in flashbacks might have very well been vias doing in wanting a different path for him. i do think via lives on through his hunter programs, so he isn't truely dead. i don't even think he truely CAN die due to being the source of the maverick virus. yeah... i hated x dive when it was a gacha game. shedding that, theres a genuinely good game worthy of the mega man x series, even if it isn't the greatest.
ViA reminds me of Zero before the events of X4. A little cocky, not afraid to joke around, but he still has an air of tragedy to him, considering his origins. Yet, he has it worse than Zero, in a way, cause where Zero is oblivious to who created him, outside of brief flashes and visions, ViA _knows_ he was made by Wily, and that he’s a ticking time bomb. Zero was at least able to be a hero, ViA only has so long before he’ll become the villain. So, where Zero landed up shutting people out because of his grief over Iris, and only started to open back up before his death in Zero 4, ViA is trying to make good of the time he has, making friends, having fun, before he has to be put down.
@@supersmashbro596 I think it helps it a LOT that it uses the Maverick Hunter X engine. Vile Mode in MHX was honestly the most fun I've had both with my PSP AND with a game from the X series, so X DiVE taking one of the best engines with the most options and meshing it with every good bits of failed projects (I see the little love notes it sends to xOver and Rockman Online!!!) was bound to be good. Even the gacha was tolerable for me, but I might be biased since we get my favorite (Axl) as a story Hunter Program and my first free gacha draw got me a Z-Saber, so I had my favorite Hunter and my favorite playstyle to mix together. Either way, man did I love ViA the second I noticed his design was a little more than just an X-colored Zero. His true form has similar quirks, mixing in Gate's Zero-data-upgraded body with something not quite the same as Zero, leaning more toward Command Mission X, so he's fascinating to me. The design quirks and plot both point toward ViA being a tangible form of Zero's raw DNA. Perhaps he's even the part of Zero that was refined into the Mother Elf/Dark Elf, in canon. As it is, whatever he is, he's made his way into my X series memories, so in Deep Log terms... he's now as real as every other Hunter, doomed or not.
so he didnt just look like zero because of the glitches. he's basically the entire cause of zero going maverick in the first place! he doesn't really want to do this. i just wanna give the guy a hug.
you should try x dive offline. it's genuinely good since it strips away the gacha and allows the fanservice to shine. i like going into this fight as awakened zero as this is his redemption trying to get back control of his body.
Bad choice for his theme song Via should of had his own theme not a a remixed X VS Zero theme that theme is iconic to the X Franchise and meant for the development of X and Zero for their final battle kinda hate seeing it milked to death

Literally couldn't have asked for a more fitting theme.

X5、X6のこの名曲が更にカッコよくアレンジされたのは嬉しいです。
史上最大の戦いって感じでいいですね。
ヴィアとの相手はエックスかリコで迷いそう。
The composers cooked with this one
so he didnt just look like zero because of the glitches.
he's basically the entire cause of zero going maverick in the first place!
he doesn't really want to do this.
i just wanna give the guy a hug.
I have no Context but as a mega man Fan who has never played This Gatcha, I'm ready for this Remix

"yeah i was hidding my true identity, how do you notice it rico?"
It's ironic, how he looks like X in some Ultimate Armor, yet he is definetly based of Zero's image.

why they can't add more music to pvp battles .....
ikr
Because most PvP battles don't last long enough, someone always gets instanuked by a totally "balanced" character
I played X Dive Armor With Deep Log Stage in Final Boss.
That opening riff makes this feel half like a Providence v. Mithrix fight, holy crap.
Someone animate that, please

"El jugador vs Via"
Wow... Impressive!
And the people says gacha games dont have good music HAH!

Only the true rockman X fans will know that this remix is pure garbage, shitty gatcha pedo game for android.
