Driver escapes after driving into a retention pond in New York

CLAY, N.Y. - A car drove off Route 31 into a retention pond in Clay Tuesday afternoon.
The Moyers Corners Fire Department responded to the scene and confirmed they assisted the driver who was able to escape the vehicle. There were no passengers in the car at the time they arrived.
