I have been astounded to be unable to find this album/this song on streaming platforms! I’m so grateful to you for putting it on RUclips. I think Mary Dillon is one of the most talented singers to have ever lived.
This video brings it all to memory what was done to the Irish people, who had to leave their beloved country for not to starve. They were treated unfair for ages in a way which drives me to tears ever again although I am not Irish. What they had to suffer and to endure is beyond imagination. Thank you, Mary, for your beautiful singing is beyond compare and reaches the heart as well as the mind.

I know you commented seven years ago... but it is from Déanta's first album "Déanta" (1993). This isn't available on Spotify or Apple Music but I recently bought the CD on Amazon. I was able to rip it to iTunes and then add it to Apple Music for mobile listening ; It includes one of their best songs "Dark Iniseoghain".

At the end of the song there appears to be a likeness of the face of George Washington on the Irish flag. Can any of you see it?
