Hey, friends! Hope you enjoyed today's video about "My First 4 Months as A Cardio Fellow". Take advantage of all my favorite med school tips and tricks in this free guide here! (themdjourney.com/med-school-success-handbook/)
The algorithm brought me back to you. Good to see that you are doing well. Lest there be any doubt, you have chosen the very best subspecialty of internal medicine. But you must be able to think clearly and act both aggressively and appropriately in the most difficult situations. All of those are learned skills superimposed on a receptive personality type. The learning never stops and must never stop. If you're not going to be great at your field, whatever it is, why bother?
Also how have you been learning EKGs? I’m really interested in cardiology and I’ve been learning this for fun, was wondering if you could make a video on your thought process when looking at echos!!
Bro, after becoming a doctor, do you still use ANKI ? . Does professional doctors use ANKI daily to keep memorizing their works ? or is Anki only limited to college studies only.
I don't use it as a fellow. Trying out RemNote to keep my notes and possibly use for flashcards. More on that in a future videos. But most docs don't use a daily flashcard/study tool

Great video! Can you make an intro video on how to interpret fluoroscopy of the vessels and coronary arteries with the catheter as in the cath lab?
Can you make a video detailing more about the procedures in the Cath lab? I think what you’re doing sounds super interesting!!

Can you talk about how you study, what books do you use? What journals?

Why do healthcare workers in the hospitals hate EVS? Why the hatred?!?
Not sure I'm clear on what EVS is?
Do you take to take oral and written cardiology board exam
Just written exam
@@TheMDJourney how many questions are on the exam. How long was the oral and written exam for internal medicine
Do you miss having every other week off when you were a Hospitalist?
There's pros and cons. I like what I'm doing now so working each week is a reasonable tradeoff
