Love this cross over. Spanners and Trumpets, you’ve grown my love for F1 over the years and you are bringing NASCAR to a new audience. And Trumpets rocking the Jordan jumpmans in that Tyler Reddick shirt - should make MJ proud. Cheers fellas

I have to say that I’ve started watching nascar this year, partly because of your excitement over this nascar feature the pst few weeks, and I’ve largely enjoyed it. The us style commentary not so much, but the sport is deeper than I’d imagined. F1 would do worse than adopt a customisable spec chassis and allow more teams.

Given how much you clearly enjoyed the openness of NASCAR may a trip to a long WEC race who give great free access to the pit lane may also entertain you.

As a NASCAR fan, I loved the "out of the box" tone of this video.
Matt: Cup cars only carry 18 gallons with a car weight of 3200 lbs, while F1 cars can carry 37 gallons and only weigh 1759, so while it makes a difference, the handling change from full to empty is not nearly as big of a deal.

Was interesting to see Matt limited to only one compound of Goodyears -v- Pirellis. The 3 seconds/lap falloff at Darlington is very real. When fresh tires are unlapping themselves, the closing rate to the leader is quite intense. Glad ya'll got to be 'part of the gang' at NASCARs oldest Speedway.

One thing JR also does is during the pitstop on the 23 car he catches the front right tire then rolls the front left to the tire changer!
