Today we are Going to experience Raghuveer Ghat. Raghuveer Ghat Situated at the height of 1400 meters above sea level in the Khed Taluka at Ratnagiri District. Raghuveer Ghat close to 40 km from the Khed city. You will experience windy Roads, Greenery of Sahyadri Mountains with Waterfalls falling from the top of the hill. At such a height surrounded by foggy clouds, we feel like we are in heaven.
Raghuveer Ghat has become a favorite tourist destination in all the three seasons, it's becoming a popular tourist attraction and a traker’s paradise. This Ghat on the top of Khopi Shirgaon will be a cultural and geographical link between Konkan and Western Maharashtra.
This Ghat is playing the role of mediator on the boundary of Ratnagiri and Satara. One on side of this beautiful place there is koyana dam and on the other hand, we have the thick forest of Sahyadri Tiger Reserve project. That is why Raghuveer Ghat has become an attraction not only for tourists but also for nature and historical researchers.
Be cautious about the monkeys because you never know what they will do with you at the next movement.
Red-brown crabs are the special attraction of this place. This species of crabs can be found only at this place. This crabs they don’t grow much in size they are very cute, if you take them into your hand they won’t hurt you. So please don’t try to hurt them also.
Shiv Sahyadri Hotel & Lodging is the only option where you can get food and stay facilities right now. As you can see there are many tourist groups enjoying the weather and nature.
