Flamingo Road: Television Film (1980) clip (Annabelle’s death)

Here’s a scene from Flamingo Road’s 2-hour movie pilot which aired on NBC on May 12, 1980 before it became a weekly series which lasted for 2 seasons from January 6, 1981 to May 4, 1982.
Patriarch of the Weldon Family, and owner of the Weldon Mill, Claude Weldon (Kevin McCarthy) revealed his financial issues to corrupt sheriff of Truro County, Titus Semple (Howard Duff), who agreed to help him in an insurance fraud scheme.
The mill is set aflame, with Annabelle Troy (Dianne Key) accidentally perishing in the fire as her boyfriend and Claude Weldon’s son, Skipper (Woody Brown) watches in horror.
