So happy to see this collaboration. Dr. Schindler is a leading thinker on a Catholic conception of the political.

Woke-ism is the latest "fad," or "buzz-word," to describe that as a liberal thinking person I can float my own boat, rather than following the crowd.

There is a Reason that in Politics there is a Right and a Left , Because the Right is Right and the Left is Wrong.
Why?
In this context, “the Right” is a type of liberalism, and by classical/medieval standards just another kind of Wrong.

No. Some aspects of the extreme right are wrong, and some aspects of the extreme left are wrong.
But there is a centre where both sides can come together in harmony. Some rightwing people believe that the poor shouldnt get medical care because "they need to get a better job to pay for it" and similar self serving comments.
For example, no one should have to sell their family home in order to pay for cancer treatment. Im a cancer survivor and my treatment was free here in Europe. Yes, i pay higher taxes, but glad to. Our society still moves along despite taking care of people. Jesus doesnt teach corporate greed. He teaches kindness.
