I always loved this version and I wish they had released it at some point. I'm guessing it was written by Liam in his studio and never properly mixed with Neil Mclellan, hence why it didn't get a release maybe?

I think the 95 version, could have been used as a single. I never got why it wasn't. I do prefer the original, but this could have been a radio hit, if Liam made it slightly longer.

@@Trawizz1 Based on interviews I've read with Neil McClellan over the years, I'm pretty sure it's down to the fact that Liam made this version in his studio and therefore it wasn't considered to be at the same level of production. For the second album, Mute Records in the USA required the album and the singles to be engineered and mixed in a big studio with the help of an engineer. In order to get the right sound Neil hired an insane amount of outboard gear so they could process the layers of sound independetly, as you would do in a modern DAW setup. As far as I know they prepared the album and all of the singles using this setup. Based on the slightly rough edged render quality of Break & Enter 95, my guess is that it was not made with Neil's setup and was therefore not elidgeable for release in the eyes of Mute Records and possibly other big labels in other overseas territories. Maybe?

Another possibility is that Baby D re-released Casanova on vinyl with The Prodigy remix included at roughly the same time that Jilted droppped. Having two singles by two different artsits featuring the same vocal might have been considered to much of a sound-clash?

@@TheDeathBeatsOfficial That makes sense. Hopefully some day, Liam will feel let go of these unreleased tracks, and make an insane compilation of these binned tracks. I would sell my left leg, for AONO v.1.

@@TheDeathBeatsOfficial Yeah, it would have made some confusion aswell. It was a bit weird he took a sample from a newly released track back then.
