Small batch is excellent imo. The cask strength is hot and not sure if it is worth the 110. I do hope it opens up. 15th year anniversary was fantastic.
I ordered a couple of the 95 proof 2023 small batch bottles thru Seelbach's since I haven't seen it in NY. I thought it was ok but not overly impressed; didn't think it was really complex. Maybe the 2024 release is better? Probably won't buy again, but might be willing to try a cask strength version of the rye or bourbon, although the price is a bit steep. Yes, cool bottle but my pet peeve is the small synthetic cork. If I push it all the way in (which is a bit hard to) it's kind of a pain to grab and twist back out.
You were very generous rating this a 72. I would give both of them a 50 and a D for value. If I compare the small batch to something like Jack Daniel’s Bonded, it blows it out of the water on flavor and it’s nearly half the price. This reminds me of an overpriced bottle of Bulleit bourbon.
Potentially. You just review the whiskey you can in the moment. I don’t check other reviews. I thought it was good not great. I felt the score reflected that. Maybe in another day it could have been different. I think it’s about right.
it is not sourced...not blended...its distlled in Georgia...i have been to the distillery numerous times and have spoken with the master distiller several times

I will pick up the regular small batch or that southern bourbon and go from there. Thanks for sharing with us.
Can't wait till these are available in California! Thanks for the review ~
Looks like they are slowly making it out west.
A fine review like a fine whiskey.
A fine whiskey deserves a fine review.
Waiting for these up in Washington! Great video Patrick🥃
Looks like they are slowly moving out west. It would be nice for you to get them this year.
Absolutely amazing juice, I have to order them online because I can't find them on the shelves in Louisiana
I wish I could get those double oaked juice as this is where I what they excel.

I’d score it higher. Also have the hazmat rye. 140 proof plus some if I can get you a sample. I like it. Great on my pallet.
I would love to try that hazmat rye. I think it dropped in Colorado Springs too
@@TheWhiskeyCove How can I get you a sample? I am in the Springs also.

I wouldn’t buy the cask strength again for the money. It’s solid in its own right but a heavy purchase at $100. Thanks for watching Jeff
where did you pick it up?
Arvada Spirit Wine and Provisions
@@TheWhiskeyCove found one locally, but thanks for the heads up

Sorry it's high in your area for standard bourbon. $32 - $34:in Atlanta. It's getting pricey since popularity.
Colorado does run high. Not as high as other states but it gets up there.
I tried it and don’t think it’s worth msrp and certainly not more. 4-6 year sourced cask strength is hard to pay 100 bucks for
I wish I would be able to find the double oaked version. Folks seem to lose their mind for that. Thanks for watching.
I was lucky to get two Cask Strength's. I thought it was good. But it did not have the finish it needed for the price
It has room to grow is what I thought. Thanks for watching

Actually, it is and has been.
@rickrichardson245 no it's not...let me know when you have been to the distillery
So you're assuming I haven't been??
Bud it says on the bottled distilled in Indiana.
@@TheWhiskeyCove not on the several bottles i have
