BMC & Springer Nature Publishers no longer offer waivers for publication fees, unfortunately.
This ONLY includes the upcoming submitted papers. However, there are some exceptions. You may send a #waiver request to the journal before submitting your paper. #BMC will evaluate your case and may offer you a full or partial waiver.
To all researchers who have already submitted their research papers to BMC Springer Nature, you should make sure that the publication fees have been waived during the submission process. If not sure, send an email to the #journal. Otherwise, you may need to pay publication fees, open access, colored figures, and table fees upon paper acceptance.
