Thank you so much for this wonderful step by step video. I am planning a baby shower and love your balloon designs. I went out and got balloons today and made a rattle and had such a hard time filling it. I did use water balloons though for the inside because party city didn't have any colored 5 inch. Looking forward to making the smaller standing baby bottle too
Yeah those rattles can be a real pain, but the more you make them, the easier it gets. : )

I use qualatex brand because they are the best, but if you are confident in the ones you want to use, then I say go for it. : ) I wouldn't go with different sizes though because it's not going to look the same with bigger inside balloons, or bigger "handles" on the bottom.

Sometimes I deflate them and put them back in the bag and sometimes I pop them and throw them in the trash. It depends on how I tie them and how long they were inflated. : )

Well I have a ton of ideas but here's a few. Party City has some 30" shaped Dory foil balloons and 17" square foil balloons. You could take some 350's and make seaweed, then have Dory coming out of it at the top. The 17" foil makes a good centerpiece topper and you could put a 7" or 14" foil #2 on the base of the centerpiece. You could also stack 3 quads with 11" latex balloons, put the 17" on top, then add hangtabs to the top center, add a quad with 5" latex balloons, and add a 40" foil #2 to the top of that. : )
Do you give the pedestal stand to the customer when you make the centerpieces? Or do you get them back?
I give them to the customer. A lot of other decorators offer an incentive though, if the customer returns them.

Hi, so the lumy pedastool you had did it not have the base? Or did it have a base and you still glued it to a disk? I found them online and trying to figure out if i need the pedastool with bases or no bases.
The ones I order come with the base attached and a piece for the top (which I rarely use). I glue the base to the dish for added height, a weight, and a professional look.
Do you have the link to attach it to the stand?

hi, if I wanted the bigger pacifier to float. which balloons do I fill with helium? how long will it last? if I treat with hifloat will they last longer?
You would fill the 11 inch with helium. It will float for up to 18 hours without hifloat. With hifloat it will last much longer..it will float for days. When using hifloat don't put their recommended amount in the balloon. Only use half of that. Make sure to coat all of the inside, to the neck. That stuff is amazing. : )
what do you mean by pumps what kind of pump is it? where can i get one?
I use a Qualatex hand pump. They are available at many online stores if you do an online search, but you can quickly find them in my amazon store. The link is in the video description as well as my channel's page.

I am trying to find all the equipment you have used, everything is fine except the lomey pedestal 30" and I can't seem to get it online since its only sold in the US and there seems to be no where I can get it within the UK, is there a suggested alternative ?

Hmmm, I'm not sure where you can get them in the UK. Maybe try searching ebay? I know they have a lot of stores that ship all over the world and they might even have some stores in the UK that sell them on there. I don't have any alternatives that are as sturdy as the lomey. : )

this is great and you did a great job. But you spend way too much time talking and not working. you will lose your audience in no time. I do this sort of stuff as my business and you might want to speed it up a bit. Talk while you work and you won't bore people. It would be a shame if your project didn't get completely watched because the majority of people watching can't take all that time like you do in your tutorial. it's a good tutorial but too long for most people i have gotten feedback from several people about your tutorial being too long and too slow .
I appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback, however I take my time to be thorough with the instructions and give any tips or tricks to make it easier since many of my viewers aren't use to working with balloons. I wish I could make everyone happy, but since that's not possible, I'd rather make sure everyone can follow it and be able to do it. : )
Balloon Gal I think your video was excellent. I appreciated your directions and in no way found it "wordy". Don't change a thing. If people listen to every word you say, they would know to Google the 31" Lomey pedestal. On that site, it gives you an option to buy with a base. This is my sons account as I don't have a RUclips account. :) Kudos to you. I will be making this for my nieces baby shower next month.
