Thanks Mr. First channel member. I am making a community post tomorrow to thank you. From now on I will publish all future videos 48 hours in advance for your eyes only. You will find them in members only community post. PS I had mixed results with H. Pinnatifida. I tried it once and failed badly. So far it looks like it is growing fine but I am adding liquid ferts. Apparently it likes potassium.
I find myself anticipating your videos, and I thought some support was in order. Happy to do so. 😎 Interesting point about the pinnatifida. Also, I am kind of curious how it works out having only slow growing plants in this setup. Algae issues come to mind.
Thanks one more time. I guess with time I learned not to overdo LED brightness. In this particular aquarium I am keeping only 3%. That is all you need. Plants are slow growing and more light will just increase algae growth but it will not increase how fast the plants can grow.
Pretty much the same for me with my pinnatifida. Mine's low tech and if i slack on fertilizing my tank, they start to get pin holes and melt away from lack of potassium too im assuming. I had a nice bunch in my 6gal from propagating that all died away now =\ and awesome use of plants in that tank too with all the epiphytes, looks very low maintenance and funnily enough im planning on using anubias gracilis also for my 16gal as part of a background plant @@IMaqua
All the Hygrophila plants in general like potassium. They are potassium sponges. But that is good because they are usually an indicator that you are lacking potassium in an aquarium.
Verry verry beautiful. How often and how much do you use the liquid fertilizer? I also have a no soil aquascape. My anubias i recently bought has melted away. Are you Dutch by the way?
I usually add only K+micro nutrients and I just two pumps a week. I had Anubis do well even in my breeding tanks where I never add ferts at all. I often experienced Anubis melt as well but that was "thanks" to Anubis rot. Greetings from Croatia
@@IMaqua Thank you for your quick answers! The reason i ask if you are Dutch is because i see you get a lot stuff from Azaqua. A Dutch aquascaping shop 😁. Verry nice channel!
i never have successfully growth h. pinnatifida on low tech.. i read somewhere that plant need high light.. but on low tech, that will cause algae problem.. but you growing that plant with low light and k+ fert, i read your comment.. that make me want to try h. pinnatifida again.. i like that plant.. will try adding more k+ fert.. bcs before i dose like 5ppm k+ a week.. still no success.. maybe need more.. any other tips for that plant? btw, very nice scape 👍
It is growing for now. The aquarium is almost a month old (in real time) and H. Pinnatifida already has 4 new leaves and that is with LED brightness at 3%. The only advice I would give you is - test a lot of different plants. Not all of them will work for you and your water parameters.

Prekrasno si to složio 👍👍
Da li si Anubiase i Buce ulovio ljepilom za panj kad si ih postavio ?
Biljke sam sve bez ljepila.
This is so beautiful! Thank you, I really needed something beautiful and peaceful today. What fish will live in here?
Soon I will add something. Something new. I don't want to spoil anything. But I will release a video about it soon.

Yes I am affiliated with Azaqua. I ordered few things from there and I was very happy with their service.

Yes the setup is still present. I just finished editing the update video that will be published soon on the channel so you will be able to see it.

May ask a question, that sand you have to wash or just pour into the aquarium. Because i saw many videos, must wash sand before use.🤔
You don't need to wash it. If I have extra time I will sometimes wash it. By washing it the water will be very clear on day 1.
