@@FascinatingGraveyard never. I hope he repented to God. Dudes not supposed to dress like girls.
Your content rocks
At 3:10 squirrel!!!!!
@@repentedheartdaily7198 why would he have to repent for dressing like a woman. It's definitely not a sin and God most definitely does not frown upon it. If he didn't believe in the Almighty and worshipped Satan then he would have to repent but to repent you have to believe and trust in God.
He was a very talented well payed professional entertainer, it was his job to dress like that.
@@repentedheartdaily7198
I hope you repent for judging a dead person.
live and let live.
Here’s a fun fact. Divine was used as a reference for the character design of Ursula in Disneys The Little Mermaid.
this is an actual fact!!
In fact, this is a fact !! A factual fact !!
Yessss honey
I knew that , he was supposed to be her . He would of been awesome. Hope you are staying safe.
Wow I see the resemblance with Divine and Ursula
He was also the inspiration for ursula in the little mermaid. He was casted to voice her as well, but he died before production began.
It amazes me people don’t have common sense enough to know not to mess with a headstone.
Good to hear of people living life like they wanted too. Hope he had a fun time.
Grew up in the 80's and I'm a huge fan of Divine. Saw him live in Salt Lake City in 1987ish. What a treat to see his Grave and thank you for the remembrance!
76 years old. I remember the original Hairspray. Thanks Lamont.
Lamont, I didn’t know you had this channel too. I’ve been following you since you were BB. Your videos get better every single day! Thanks for all the great stories you bring to us. Huge fan of Divine. Rest In Peace. 🕊
What's the other channel?
@@k.c5010 lol. This is his 2nd channel
@@k.c5010 He has a couple. BLACK BIGELOW, LAMONT AT LARGE, YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS.
@@jamiegoldie4036 thank you
@@k.c5010 welcome
He was a great actor. His career was just going mainstream when he died. RIP.
Except there was something seriously wrong with someone who would eat dog shit to shock people
@@devolinski wow.seriously?
@@salvatoreignoti9579 yes in Pink Flamingos. I haven't seen it nor do I want to. You can look it up
Rest in Peace, Divine. It takes all kinds to make our world wonderful. And we need everyone! 💖💖💖
I like your attitude!
What a man!
He passed the day I was born. I had never heard of him before. Thanks for sharing his story
Lamont, I appreciate how respectful you are in your videos. This is a great tribute to Divine.
I just seen that he was the inspiration for Ursula on the Little Mermaid
The song is Walk like a man. The Four Seasons did it originally. Big fan of Divine and John Waters!
Sounds like what France has to deal with at the grave of Jim Morrison.
They would LOVE to relocate him because of the havoc his grave creates.
RIP Devine!
Stay safe Lamont!
Love 💕 from NH as always.
💖
🤘
I thought the same thing!!
Wow I didn't know he passed away, I loved him in hairspray he was fabulous,GOD Bless His Soul Cares All Passed Home At Last Forever To Rejoice He Is At Peace 🕊️🕊️🕊️
Thank you so much for acknowledging Divine and his being a pioneer of drag in the "mainstream." He had many talents and I wish he had lived to realize his dream of being recognized outside of drag. Seeing his headstone damaged is so disappointing. I hope it can be fixed. May he rest in peace.
Such a shame to disgrace a beautiful soul's headstone.
I admire these kind of pioneers .. and it also does make me think of From Julie Newmar to Foo ManChu, with Wesley Snipes Patrick Swayze and John Leguisamo.
🙏🙏🛐❤️Rest in Peace ❤️🛐🙏🙏
Glenn Milstead will forever be the First and only before Rupaul R.I.P Thank you for taking time to Honor him this was very Respectful.
Just wanted to bring up the fact that us Marylanders pronounce Towson as “Tao-sin.” Just took me a second to realize that’s where you were by the way you pronounced it. Glad you stopped by our state though. If you want to check out some other interesting graves here, there are lots of interesting ones in Ellicott City.
What is Baltimore like? Is the city Maryland I was curious to know?
Unforgotten 1981 Polyester the “First smelly film in film history”. Scratch and smell cards were handed out to the audience and numbers where we had to scratch were shown on the screen. It was laughable. In eternal memory of Divine from Germany.🌈🙏
Those brows.. I would know them anywhere. Blessed Be, Divine.
🕊️🕯️🕊️
Divine was the QUEEN (No pun intended) of drag, before RuPaul was RuPaul !
RIP momma !
Divine was in a lot of john Waters movies. The one i love most is the one with Tab Hunter in it, Polyester. Such a hoot. True fans of Divine would never write on his tombstone. It's stunts like that which ruin things for everyone.
Yes I remember devine very talented man, thank you Lamont love from the UK x
Divine was a fabulous Drag Queen and an inspiration to many. A person has one life and can express themself or try to fit in. John Waters saw the talent in his friend.
One of my most prized possessions is a Autographed picture of my favorite director John Waters to me!
A beautiful grave and you in my hometown ayyyyeeeeeee!!!!!❤❤❤❤💙💙💙💙
He was great in "Hairspray ", may he rest in peace🕊
Hair spray wasn't my favorite Devine movie. The cult movies are really good for what they are. Hair spray was too PG for Devine---
Divine rocks! 🤘🏿 RIP 🪦
Yeah! 💄💋♥️
A true Legend & Icon.
The most famous and oldest crossdresser in Portugal is called Belle Dominique 😃
Ciao Bella.
I enjoy your videos. Whenever I get dragged down over trivial concerns, I find that your videos help me pay attention to what is really important in life. That said, I grew up in Baltimore so I can say with authority that the tow in Towson sounds like the beginning of the word tower and not like the word toe.
Keep on trucking Lamont! We're goin with you! Very underated channel. Never miss.
Divine was a great actor. RIP Divine great job covering the story of Divine.
Divine appear once on All in the Family . One of my favorite episodes
A true Legend in my Hometown Baltimore Maryland! Met Edie the Egg Lady many times in Fells Point Baltimore Maryland were she had a shop and went to her wake when she passed away there!
SHE deserves high praise. R.I.P. 🖖☘🌈🎃😎
Safe travels Lamont! 🙋💗
Hi Lamont... Be safe out there... You work hard and travel all over the country... Take some time for yourself and enjoy the holidays... Thank you for your videos...🙏♥️💋
Great video thankyou. Loved Devine in the 80s. Fab disco hits. Especially Native Love. Always remembered.

DIVINE!!! LEGEND IN HIS OWN RIGHT. 🎼YOU THINK YOUR A MAN BUT YOUR ONLY A BOY🎶 LAMONT👌
He's still remembered!
Thank you for your work ❤
Even a cat visiting😘😘🐾🐈
Absolutely loved it lamont..rest in peace divine
LoL! Rikki Lake & Hairspray is one of the best movies! He played the mother & the conservative old dude in it! Penny will be punished! Hefty hideaway 🤣
He was also in the movie Polyester with Tab Hunter. That movie is hilarious.. saw it in the theater when it came out.. they actually gave out 'sniff cards'.. for it.. def. audience participation.
He was absolutely phenomenal... Thank you for the upload
RIP Devine. I were a fine actor & comedian.⚘🙏🏾🌹
I'm sure he is NOT resting in peace.
I was just here this summer! Thanks for sharing, been loving your content for years
Divine was amazing. Peace, Darling. Peace.
I saw the doc on him and he was FAB!!! RIP dear.
People can say what they want but I always loved Devine ,Hairspray is one of my favorite movies
Thank you for sharing.
Rest In Peace divine; he also showed how you should be happy with how you feel in the inside
Great...I share the same day and month as Divine. My family's from Baltimore, MD. Towson, MD. is a beautiful area; in most areas. When I was younger, I used to see a lot of Divine and John Walters in Baltimore city, what memories.
he had a couple of hits over here in the uk walk like a man and you think your a man but your only a boy he was an amazing guy thanks for sharing his final resting place 😇
Great video Lamont great tribute to Divine. You are correct his single is You think you're a man. He died so young. Thank you for all your hard work
When you do something, be an original, be the first, be the best! He certainly accomplished that
I remember his connection to Married with Children.
Thanks for letting me know about Divine, that he was in hairspray. Know I know who he was. May he R.I.P. Peace out Lamont, as always!
Yet another Great video. Thank you
"Oh, Francine!...You need a drink".
76 years old. Not 71. :D Never watched that version of Hairspray but I remember his face.
He did a hilarious episode of All in the Family.
Did he play Edith's friend Beverly LaSalle? He was wonderful ❤
The name of the song is "Native Love (Step by Step)" 1982, it was a huge club music song.
Lust in the Dust is my favourite film of his along with Hairspray.
You were in my state of Maryland not too far from me. Thank you for the history.
I remember divine and that song
Ya think your a man but your only aboy
Ya think ya a man but your only a toy and divine also sang walk like a man
It looks like many people love to visit his grave. At least they are doing what they do lovingly. I liked him in Hairspray too. Sad he passed so young.
I enjoy all your videos keep up the great work hairspray was a great movie R.I.P
Thank you for sharing
He was born the same day as me, just 40 years before me
"Pink Flamingos ", "Female Trouble", "Hairspray" etc. Any Divine comedy was/is candy for my brain. He was waaay before his time. I'd go visit places in Baltimore where certain scenes were filmed from his movies (all filmed without stinking permits, I might add). Divine finally made it to prime time TV before he died, the day before shooting his role as the uncle on, "Married: With Children". RIP
I loved Divine ❤🙏
Lamont. I am loving this channel of yours. Wonderful work💜
He would be 76 now. RIP Divine.
THANKGOD UR BACK!!! MISSED U!♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
I remember Divine mostly for the movie Hairspray. One of my favorite classic movies!!
kinda seemed like he was talking back to you in a way.. the pinwheel always stopped when you would start talking then spin like crazy when you said a fact or finished talking. pretty cool.
Rest in Peace 🙏 Hairspray good movie
Someone left a pair of cha-cha heels at the grave site. Referencing the movie Female Trouble. That movie is twisted. RIP, Divine.
interesting information. great video as always
Thank you for your wonderful content
I did some research and the name of the song is You Think You're A Man. Another job well done you did. Love the videos.
I LOVE EACH VIDEO! SOMEDAY A STAR ON THE WALK OF FAME! THANKS FOR MAKING RUclips WORTH WATCHING!
I always like your videos...It's great to be remembered
You’ve made this old gals day. Absolutely love Devine thanks 🙏
I think this was the guy that used to frequent Studio 54 in the 70's. Him and Andy Warhol.
Sad death is so sad
I loved Divine ♥️.Rest in Peace 🙏🕯️
Have you sean all his movies ?
God bless him…
What was that little squirrel 🐿️ up to on Divine's grave ?🤔🐿️💞
RIP Divine. What a beautiful person he was!!
He was amazing !
Oh Divine he was multi talented. Rest in peace 💋⚘
Beautiful ❤️
This was really nice Lamont. I love me some Divine!
