Please why are my 9 weeks layers gathering in one place at the night especially were there is moonlight ?
There are 350 in number
I am suffering from that and become of the gathering they suffering fom CRD
Please sir what is the solution is it from my chicken house construction or from the breed?

First it’s normal for your chickens to gather together at a place at night only, secondly check your litter if it’s in moisture form remove it and replace it with a dry wood shavings or sawdust, if there are in the brooder at 9 weeks bring them out cus if your pen is air tight with their droppings on it ammonia will be generated, then you’ll have to check their eyes if you see any watery substance after all this get back to me so I can tell you how to fight the CRD immediately thank you
