Seeing the old animations again is weird. I guess they were doing their best and I’m pretty sure they got someone to do animations for them so props to them.
Old seek: warming up then running for you New seek: desperately trying to get out of his slumber to run at you full force Old figure: unsure where the player went, not looking very desperately for the player New figure: actually wanting to find the player, so ran full force Old figure (door 100): actually wanting to to get the player, but is clumsy for the first part New figure (door 100): actually knowing where the steps are, allowing him to prevent you from skipping past him
Pro Tip for door 100: Always make sure to carry a lockpick, and when the chase is over, unlock the electrical room and open the power box to save time!
the new ending cutscene is much better. the old one is emotionless, figure falls on the elevator and i'm like: "oh figure fell on top of the elevator, yay" in the new cutscene it's more realistic and has emotion.
I love the floating animation when the elevator is falling. It adds so much impact to both the cutscene and the elevator reaching the bottom. That combined with the music gives me shivers
Honestly I like the old figure cutscene better (door 100) the jumping down from the upstairs was honestly so scary. Now he just calmly walks down the stairs, so yeah Edit: I mean after you pull the lever not the very end of the game or the fire part, those parts are so much better now in my opinion

It'd be really cool if they added a minigame showing we are in a coma due to the elevator incident and get past our dream and win the minigame to get back out consciousness

new seek has a greater sense of urgency new figure in the library actually charges to your left because of new sound and the new room 100 feels more dynamic overall

Yeah, the old one was so much better. (Door 50) In the old one His walk is so cool and the animation is way more intense. In the new one he is just drunk and his walk is so goofy. The new one just makes him look more lifeless, it gives me a feeling that i'm sad that they changed it.
The new cutscenes are amazing. However for door 100 i gotta go with the old one. Since figure is blind, it makes more sense for him to be swinging on the pipes than for him to be using the staircases
