The vintage GO LA SALLE! was originally a traditional Lasallian battle cry and it was converted to an upbeat Lasallian battle song. Years later on the old Lasallian battle song was made into a Lasallian battle chant. Presently our Animo Yell Commanders have made our GO LA SALLE! into a Lasallian battle cry, battle song and battle chant during La Salle's games in the UAAP frays.
The local tribal chants, cheers and songs of the UAAP and NCAA of our local Pinoy schools are a lot much better than those I've watched, seen and heard back in the States.
I also like the NCAA vintage version of our GO LA SALLE! Battle Song accompanied by trumpets, horns and our LS Pep Band.
