What a joke "These workers essential to making our corporations millions, are causing us problems...". How about providing competent management? You know, taking measures to keep experienced management rather than hiring just out of school kids to save money? Just a suggestion.
Aslong as thay arent doing it in work and are sober going into work i dont see a problem, im a heavy user ive had multiple jobs, everybody knows me, my employers always find out about me and treat me like crap even though i go above and beyond at work, what i do outside of work is none my employers bussines, no matter how good of a worker you are if your known for drugs your down the drain, and goodluck being genuinely sick they wont believe it, just because you do drugs doesnt mean you cant get sick from that chicken last night. I had to call in sick for the first time in a year, was genuinely sick, was called out for being hungover, disgrace.
Yup that’s the worst. When people know you indulge in a few things they will never ever let it go. Especially the people that want to look down on you. Anything you do they will say “ oh it’s because he was on drugs” lesson learned. Never let people know what they don’t need to know
