But its still a really good nattle shounen. At the end of novel main hero Issei hwve more battle abilities than 99% of all shounen protagonists together. Yes, maybe Issei get some of his abilities by some strange but absolutely normal way like pinching girls nipples, and by using cursed power for too long he got some big debuff as real world censore that was covering all girls breasts in real life, but its a battle shounen, for real(
Genuinely, I miss this show... not even being horny or anything just like highschool of the dead, I will still watch this anime without the fan service. (I still memorize both op 1 and 2 to this day for a decade now... what a fcking weeb) I stopped when the new studio animated the latest season (iirc there's a newer one now), I know they just stick with the source material's art style for the new season, but growing up with the first 3 season's art style which made me fall in love with the series as it looks more mature than the source material's art style for season 4 onwards.
btw, the second opening you reacted is for season 4 that's why the art style looks more cutesy than the first one haha the real Op 2 is called Sympathy
@@LongXue i read whole novel after 1 season, and was so disapointed by this anime fate( Problem was that they sign contract with first studio only on 3 seasons, and after that waited for some time untill they find some replacement. And then they start anime novel wlready was reaching its end. So they wanred to know will this style be popular. And then they get feedback they just dropped later adaptation. But saddest thing was that manga and anime end at the same point around 12-13 novel volume, and after this started biggest fights in DxD, but at the same time novel reach its end. They try to convince author to continue story, even if all villains already defeated, all love multiangles get resolved, even issei make proposal to Rias. But continuation with peaceful life was not that popular and with so weak anime adaptation publisher decide to end DxD. Buuuut at least they will make spin-off with difrerent characters in same universe. Dont know whwt it will be, i hoe it will not be some story about kids with names like Jissei and Nias...

High School D×D is an ecchi harem and one of the best in the genre. Of course there is a lot of fanservice but never just because of fanservice. D×D has a good story that is weirdly entagled with the lewd moments. It's a show with plot and "plot" and no other show I've seen managed to balance both aspects as good as D×D.
Tried posting stuff about the English VAs being award winning and you should watch the series Dubbed but my post doesn't show up. Also you should watch the Season 1 ED.

Actually no i wouldn't lock that behind a wall. I literally couldn't find it. The issue with old shows is that people repost the same on under different names so unless you watched the show its impossible to know where to go :(

The endings really get into the “plot” so much so that it puts shows like Moster Musumae to shame.
