- Invincible is Terrifically Spectacular, and it is without a doubt one of the best animated comic book shows I ever seen! Omni-Man was overkill in this series.
So...I try my best adding whole Omni-Man scenes in Season 1. Just normal editing cut and transition.

it's kinda sad because even though he says he doesn't care for earth and only Viltrum you constantly see the pain in his eyes when he beats on mark.

Glad you finished it with the tear shedding another vid cut it off before you could see the tears in his eyes and just took away the emotion of the moment. Nice work on the edit.

Agreed I watched one and it cuts to black right as Nolan leaves earth like just a second or two more and the tear would of dropped
@@Pumpernickel420 I mean those tears are important. That’s like empire strikes back cutting the Luke I’m your father line and just skipping to Luke falling. It’d take away the whole emotional moment/twist etc.
@@dx7689 totally agree, like you can still see him crying in the last shots but without the droplet being shown as u said takes away from the point of the scene

"It takes control and drags me into no where" this could be shown as Omni Man's mission drags him away from what he loves" and "I need your help I can't fight this forever" could signal that he can't stop his race from destroying what he cares about alone
And "Before I become my own worse enemy" signals he didn't want to beat Mark and "I need a Savior to heal my pain"

Omni man is the world's worse superhero and father.
I don t get why he got less hate than Amber as a character
His value and his actions match and are consistent with a break of character right at the end, even if his aim is evil.
She on the other hands doesn't seem to care but acts like she cares e.g Mark got into a "bus accident" and her reaction.

Regardless of how much is actions are consistent with its characters he is still a mass muder who kill his friend, threathen to kill his son, who called his wife a pet.
If we spek of character development , yes moni man is better than amber. But we speak of which of them is the worse, so omni man clearly deserve more hatred.

I'm generalizing so I can infer, my main point is her actions and words don't match with her intent. e.g. she knew he was a superhero but acted the way she did on the campus grounds. it was a life-threatening situation for mark and she got upset he disappeared and appeared as invincible.
Omni deserves more hatred but people see themselves as more likely to meet a female dog than a mass murderer. so her character bugs them more than his.
plus people like the one who is invincible and lacks empathy. people like the idea of doing stuff and not feeling guilt nor fear. it stems from our dark desires (refer to "the shadow" by Carl Jung); i.e. the sociopath trope
Because Amber in the comics was a case of “If it isn’t broke. Don’t fix it.” She had believable struggles and Mark had struggles trying to make the thing with Amber work. He told Amber the truth because he was on a guilt trip with her getting injured and hospitalized. The TV show pulls things with Amber like “I already know” and write it off as a way to fast track Mark over to Eve. I don’t mind if the show also is meant to have Mark end up with Eve, but the way they rush it seems to gloss over and put away a lot of the struggles Mark had with Amber struggling with a relationship that was doomed to eventually be a breakup, as well as Mark struggling from his inexperience with trying to run his romance and being a superhero at the same time. Just saying the writers made it a bit cheap. Also the way that Amber is written in the show is a bit inconsistent with the idea that she always knew about Mark being invincible.

I saw the look on Omni Man's face when he almost killed his own son! I just wish that he had a " good" origin story where he was only a superhero because no man deserves to go through the shit he went through
Sorry but I don’t hope Omni man has a redemption arc. The whole morale of this is when there’s a lot of power, it cannot be held with responsibility, it corrupts anyone regardless of how great they are. Omniman is the living story proof of it, the most powerful man on earth, and can’t shake how much it corrupts him. It needs to end with either omniman dying and a full war with viltrum, or the more likely one of omniman coming back with reinforcements and killing everyone.
