Kudos to you for speaking about mental health and normalizing therapy. I am also going to therapy, it has helped me so much, although I feel like there is still much to work on. This game is definitely more stressing than Pan'orama. haha.
Agreed on still having a lot of work to do. It’s a process but good for you for going to therapy! I think everyone could benefit from it. And, yes, definitely more stressful than Pan’orama! But I love it.
That’s so cool! Is this what you do for work or is this something you’re just doing for yourself? The most I’ve ever done with restoration stuff is refinishing an old dresser for my bedroom which was a lot of fun! I love the idea of reusing antiques.
@@thebrockstargames it's for me and my cats :) I'm a para at a public school so you can imagine I don't have too much money. My parents own a few acres, and my dad and I have been building this house - while I've been living in it - for almost three years. Getting close to the finish line now! Restoring old things is so much more fulfilling than just going and buying something! They have more character, and you can put your own personal touch on them.
If it hasn't been recommended to you yet (I would be surprised), you ought to check out islanders. It's a puzzle/city builder game in a similar vibe to pan'orama or dorfromantik. The principle is to build a city on an island by placing buildings which give you points based on what other buildings are in a bubble around them. You get new buildings when you get enough points (more points needed every time), and a game ends when you run out of buildings. The game is not that hard to win since you just need a certain number of points to win on an island and move from island to island to win the campaign. But the real challenge is in planning your placements to last as long as possible on each island for high scores. Cramming the most value out of the limited space and building verticality to make use of the third dimension.
I can’t remember if I played Islanders or if I watched someone play it haha! But, yes, it sounds right up my alley. I will definitely have to play it. I’ve been thinking I need to bring out another puzzle game for the channel. Thanks!
If you got a few flags and tile count is dropping don't be afraid to close them to get more but don't chase it either. Other than that what did you think about dorfromantic? Once you get the feel for it it gets quite chill and the music is relaxing. Train tracks and water are usually the run enders.
Berlin has museums with old stuff (we bought from the Ottomans so it's like, 50% legit!) and it *is* something else to like, straight up look at a human thing that you can understand that is from like, 3000 BC or whathaveyou. Neues Museum and Pergamom-Museum are the places to be if you want to feel small in the face of human history.
That’s good to know! I saw in creative mode after it ended that I could toggle them but didn’t know if that was only in creative mode. The Fjord is just so dull looking compared to the others.
@@thebrockstargames I agree. I usually turn off Fjord and just keep Standard, Lavendar, and Blossom on all the time. Sometimes I also use Enchanted (it's dark like Fjord, but instead of just dreary, it's a little spooky halloween-y) and/or Midwinter (it's snowy). I just wish that I could get the Sakura biome because it's definitely the prettiest. Unfortunately, it's only on Switch.
Settlers of Catan is the game I couldn’t think of. I could NOT remember it for the life of me. Monopoly is pretty easily one of my least favorite games ever haha it just takes way too long.
The game I couldn’t think of was Settlers of Catan, by the way. Drop your favorite board games below! 💜

Happy birthday, Nora!

R.I.P. dorf
We will return.

I love it. I definitely found really chill despite the fact that it required more active thought than Pan’orama. I’ll definitely be coming back to it.
congratulations
Hey thanks! We will have to come back and see if we can’t get a better score.

I love that feeling, honestly. Seeing something so old that my brain struggles to comprehend its age but also seeing it as something so familiar.
You seem like you’d be the type of Minecraft player to befriend the Wandering Travis
I don’t know what that means but I do tend to try and befriend every NPC in games lol
If you don't like the Fjord biome, you can choose which cosmetic things you want to turn on and off in the menu.
