the location towards taxiway J3 is great, but the view blocked by fence is a problem. maybe try in December then 07R-25L on mixed mode for both departure and arrival for easier spottings.

Kai Tak had more great locations for spotting, Chak Lap Kok's runways are too far away to spot. u can go to typical place: top floor of airport car park, Kowloon Tsai Park under Checked board, Kowloon City Pier, Quarry Bay Park, Lung Cheung Road Lookout or even at Tseung Kwan O/ Siu Sai Wan / any suburbs under the 13 direction approaching flight path.
