    True, raw strength comes as much from building muscle as it does from years and years of strengthening your tendons and ligaments. The term "old man strength " has little to do with muscle its years of building strong connective tissue.

      Yeah very well said. It's that density that you get as well from years of training.

    I just found this channel and subscribed, I want to have that raw strength but I’m struggling with my squats 😂 I’m 6’2 / 188cm and I feel like my legs are a bit long for the squats. Yesterday I injured my back trying to squat 130kgs. But not giving up, hope to get your strength some day. Amazing

    I rolled my ankle right before my sophomore year in highschool. So I was taking it light on my lower body and really just helping it recover with light lifts. So I benched ALOT and because of that my max went from 195 to 235 in 3 months. I've always been told I was strong and in wreseling i cpuld easily manhandle my opponents but after that max out I was seen as a very strong individual by my peers

      @LairdRoss  7 месяцев назад

      That is good mate. Yeah I was always seen as strong. My best bench press when I finished high school at world's was 165kg / 363lb in the 82.5kg / 181lb class.
