You are dead wrong. There are no massacres in America by bare hands. All massacres in America are by people wielding guns, especially AR-15s. Decades ago the State of Texas should have raised the minimum age to buy any long gun to 21. No one under 21 should be able to legally buy any type of gun except BB & pellet guns. The Uvalde killer is just 1 example. Although he slaughtered 21, the cops gave him more than enough time to have slaughtered all 33 people who were in classrooms 111 & 112. If people under 21 want to hunt or do target practice, responsible adults over 21 can supervise the use of guns by folks under 21. I'm a lifelong Texan, military veteran, & I own guns. When we found out that the placement of the gas tank on the Ford Pinto was the cause of so many deaths what did Ford do? They took the Pinto off of the road. When Toyota realized the gas peddles on the Prius were getting stuck causing people to die what did Toyota do? They took the Prius off the roads so they could fix it. When Tesla realized that the batteries in the Model 3 were catching fire what did Tesla do? THey took the Model 3 off of the road. Yet whenever people use the AR-15 for mass shootings what do we do? We offer thoughts and prayer. We blame video games, music, tv shows, mental illness, and the lack of God in schools. We find anything we can use as a scapegoat.
