I visited the army coffee shop and then had a look in Mae Salong yesterday. I had a similar issue trying to pass along one of the roads when the army stopped me and turned me around. Too dangerous for farang but ok for Burmese and Akha. 😅 You do the most informative videos. Thank you.
Thanks again for the kind words. Great to hear you were up in that way. Sometimes I think they are far too overcautious about which roads they close to us, and other times I'm surprised they let us rip about up that way at all!
I was watching ur journey from dehong perfecture of Yunnan China and then wtf i just saw jingpo/kachin pillars just like the one from my village at the end . I need to come to thailand asap
