Looks absolutely great!!! Gonna use this as tutorial for my first maschinen kit! Question, does the hairspray trick work with laquer paints or did you airbrush acrylics?
It needs to be acrylic so that the water will lift the paint off in little chunks. If you were to try it with lacquer with lacquer thinner, it would just smear around.
@@rx69_grandzaddy84 I also meant to mention that the hairspray will only work with acrylic.. If you were to spray lacquer over it, it would just seal it in place.
Did you use the epoxy putty right over the existing gray plastic joints? If not, what did you use as a base armature for the putty? Kit turned out great!!

Thanks! It's right over the existing joint as you mentioned, so no need for an armature.
